(Middle of the Night)
Epifanio saw Camila weeping as she laid on the bed. He went to her side and tried to comfort her, but it was as if she couldn't hear him. Just then, her father walked in.
"What the hell are you doing here?!" he shouted.
Once again, it was as if they couldn't hear him. What was going on? Her father walked over to her and stabbed her. Just then, he suddenly woke up. Camila was also now awake. Epifanio was breathing heavily.
"Epi? Are you okay? What the hell happened?" she asked concerned.
"Nothing, it was nothing. Just a bad dream, that's all," he replied.
"What was it about?"
"Hun, it's nothing you need to worry about."
"Epi, you can tell me," she said soothingly, her expression soft.
Epifanio smiled sadly and hugged his wife. He grabbed his phone off of the nightstand and went to the video Cortez had sent him from when her father had kidnapped her. He showed it to Camila. She stared at him concerned.
"Epifanio, you-"
"What if it happens again? You've been through so much. It isn't an unlikely thing anymore. We have many enemies. New ones that we didn't know of as a matter of fact. I'm really worried about you."
"I'm more worried about you than for myself. Everything is going to be okay. I promise," she said, kissing him. "You need your rest Epifanio. We have work tomorrow. We can't keep taking time off just because we've been kidnapped. No matter how much they and the ones who support us suggest it."
"Last I remember, you said setting something such as this aside until later made you uncomfortable?"
"Well, we took care of it at a later time. Would it help if you just held your arms around me for the rest of the night?"
Epifanio didn't answer. Instead, he laid down just as she did and wrapped his arms around her. Epifanio kissed her head and stared at her for a while. Camila smiled and shut her eyes, going back to sleep. Her smiled didn't fade, it remained. This made Epifanio more comfortable, to know that his wife was happy. Later, he fell asleep. He too, with a smile on his face.
(With Isabella)
While her parents were asleep, Isabella snuck out. She went to an abandoned building. Isabella parked her car at a different building down the street so it wouldn't look odd.
"Are you here?" she asked.
"Yeah, I'm here," said another woman.
"Thank you. For saving my parents."
"No problem. You helped me out of prison so it was the least I could do. Even though I do have issues with your mom."
"How did you know where they were anyway?"
"It was all over the place. The news, paper, that kind of thing. Said they disappeared at a party, right? I recognized the guys facial tattoos. Vienna's men. Man she is one scary bitch. I remember when she was there. She got let go because she was found innocent. Everyone knew she wasn't though. Bitch was Eva's sister, the one who framed your mother."
"She wanted revenge on my mother because of her sister?"
"Vienna hated her sister. They both liked Epifanio, but only because of his money. One more thing before I get the hell out of here. I don't think I killed Cortez. He may have been lying there bleeding, but I shot him in the shoulder. I missed. So he may still be alive if the bullet didn't bounce around his skeleton."
