(The Next Day)
Teresa was out for a while grabbing some things that they would all need. As she went to the car, she noticed a man standing at the edge of the building smoking. Teresa got in the car and drove away. The man got in his car and followed them when they were far enough away from him to not be noticed.
Teresa had gone inside and was sitting down and read a text she received from James on her phone. He needed her help with something. Pote was to stay and keep an eye on the Vargas family. The man who followed Teresa knocked on the door.
"Can I help you?" asked Pote.
"Yes, I'm here to see Camila, Camila Vargas," the man answered.
"She's not here."
"Yes she is. She's with that girl that just left. A man called Mayo was talking about it and I overheard him."
"She's not seeing anyone."
"Well she's gonna see me. Whether she likes it or not."
The man stepped inside and went right past Pote. He looked around and went upstairs to find Camila. He opened the door to Camila's room where he saw Epifanio with his arms around her.
"Get you arms off of her!" the man yelled.
Camila looked over where the man was standing. Her face dropped even more after she realized who it was that she saw standing in the doorway. Camila couldn't believe it. Epifanio had only met him once, so he didn't recognize the man at all.
"Dad...." Camila said.
"What?" asked Epifanio.
"You, get away from my daughter. As for you, you're coming with me," her father told her.
"Mami, what's going on?" Isabella asked after she walked in.
"What did she just call you?" asked Camila's father.
"What do you want?" said Camila. "Why are you here?"
"I heard from Officer Mayo that you were here. He said that before he died in the hospital. So, I followed your friend Teresa here so I could find you. Why are you in Arizona instead of Mexico?"
"Long story," Camila replied.
"Epifanio I'm willing to bet you're the reason behind this," said he father.
"No he isn't! Leave him out it!" shouted Camila. "Just because you're my father doesn't mean that I'm going to let you get away with saying things about my husband."
"Camila," Epifanio said soothingly, putting his arms around her.
She looked into his eyes and knew. Camila sighed and looked away. Isabella walked over to her mother and hugged her.
"Now, I'd like you to explain who she is," said Camila's father.
