It was some time in the afternoon. Epifanio and Camila were at the airport waiting for James. He'd just left one of the Jimenez family's properties and was bringing their daughter there. Pedro Jimenez had caused a lot of trouble. He'd kidnapped Isabella when she least expected it.
A car suddenly pulled up and the door swung open as soon as it stopped. Isabella ran out and went straight to her mother and father. They hugged her with tears in their eyes. They had been so worried about her. The clue she provided in the video gave them her location.
"Just like her mother," Epifanio had said earlier.
As they were on the plane, Camila spoke with James for a little while. Afterwards, she went over and sat next to Epifanio. James, however, felt uneasy. He opened the window next to his seat and realized, they were landing.
"This isn't Sinaloa," James stated.
Camila and Epifanio jumped at what he said when Guero stepped out of the cockpit and shot one of their bodyguards.
"You two, you have a little date," Guero said pointing the gun at them.
They complied, not wanting to get shot in front of their daughter. As they stepped out of the plane, they saw Teresa. Camila had no idea what the hell she wanted. They walked over, and for a few minutes, just stared each other down.
"You left the business without saying anything, so now I'm taking over," said Teresa.
"Fine, but I will say this. You will have some serious competition," Camila replied.
The conversation went on for a few minutes when Epifanio took a step over. Teresa thought that he was about to do something, and shot him in the knee.
"What the hell?!" Camila yelled. "He didn't do anything but take a step to the right!"
"Camila," Epifanio said. She looked at him. "Don't let our daughter fall down the wrong path."
He turned to pulled out a gun when Teresa shot him. Epifanio fell to the ground bleeding. Isabella ran over to where her father now lay on the concrete.
"There's 10 million on the plane," Camila said in a low tone. "Take it and go."
She bent over her husband's body, squeezing his hand which was now cold. The emergency services arrived, but if in time, they had no idea. Later, they were told he had died. Camila and Isabella were devastated.
(Time skip to at home)
They both sat on the couch. His funeral would be tomorrow. Isabella lied her head on her mother's shoulder. They were so focused on the thought of Epifanio's death, they didn't notice when someone arrived at the door.
