"So does a date usually require dinner?" I asked as we had almost reached our location.

"it doesn't have to," she told me honestly "a class of wine is usually fine"

"I was hoping that you would say that" I smiled as we stopped at a cafe parking lot. We stood in front of a pickup truck that had a bottle of wine with two glasses and one big blanket at the back "because all I brought was two glasses, a bottle of wine and a huge blanket"

After her visit that morning, I had hired a pickup and set everything up a few hours earlier. Why did I do all that if I hated the experiment? Well, to be honest, I didn't want to be yelled at again.

I was going to tell her at the end of the evening that I no longer wanted to continue these 'gentleman class's' or whatever the hell they were calling it.

"wow" her eyes lit up as we got onto the back of the truck. "You know for someone who has never been on a real date you certainly know how to plan one"

I just copied what she said basically. I was more curious about everything I was supposed to do on a first date. She had mentioned remembering small details were attractive.

"I only took your fantasy and turned it into a reality" I shrugged "so those small details that women find so damn attractive what do they include?"

"anything really their favourite colour or their middle name or even their favourite childhood movie" she explained as I pour her a glass of red wine.

"What's your favourite childhood movie?" I raised a brow.

"What" she blinked in shock.

It was a 'first date' so I needed my behaviour to fit the scenario.

"What's your favourite movie from your childhood?" I rephrase.

"Drop Dead Fred," she told me with a smile. "Taught me that men are assholes and you can do without them"

I laughed. That explained a lot about Sarah I thought. I glanced at her smile and teeth. She was cute when she smiled, I didn't know why she didn't do it more often.

"I like your smile," I told her "you have such perfect teeth"

"three and a half years of braces buddy" she smirked.

"I didn't know you had braces, see there is so much we don't know about each other" I smirked, "....what's your favourite colour?" I asked as she takes the glass and sips the wine.

"Mustard yellow," she told him.

"Mines Blue" I half smiled "when I was a kid I used to paint everything I saw in different shades...sometimes it was my bedroom floor...or even my legs...eventually my nanny had to lock up all the paint in the garage"

"Where were your parents?" She half smiled.

"I don't have any" I shook my head.

"what?" Her eyes widened.

"Mum walked out when I was a kid" I admitted "...And my dad's...well complicated...I was pretty much raised by my nanny Gina until my dad decided to marry his mistress"

Her eyes softened "Do you have any other family?"

"My older brother Luke who everybody worships...who I never see" I shrugged "I don't know, after my sister died I guess I just rather be an only child then to have him in my life"

"Your sister's dead?" She gasped.

Looking back, Sarah asked a lot of personal, almost inappropriate questions. I didn't mind talking about it though.
