The slight sounds of shuffling calls me from my slumber.
I keep my eyes shut, my consciousness slipping in and out of dreamland frequently. Then something lights up faintly behind my eyelids, a light blue hue.
"Tae?" I groggily say, hearing a deep hum from said person.
I struggle to open my eyes, squinting to see Taehyung on his phone. His hair is messy, the duvet pooling at his calves to show his t-shirt and pajama shorts.
"Why are you awake...? Is it morning already?" I ask, pushing myself up with my arms weakly, still disoriented due to the sudden light in the darkness.
"No it's around 3am, sorry did I wake you up jagi?" I nod, lying back down with a huff.
"Is there a reason why you're up?" He faces me with a lopsided smile.
"I wanted to know how it feel to stay awake all night. It's..." He looks ahead as he thinks carefully, before looking at me with his signature blank expression.
"Quite boring actually."
I stare at him in astonishment, torn between wanting to scold him and wanting to laugh. "Of course it's boring you idiot, you're practically doing nothing."
A deep chuckle roars out of his mouth, finding this situation amusing. "Then let's do an all nighter in the future, we can stay out and go to the arcade, get food and have drinks-"
"Yes yes, in the future, now let's sleep." I cut him off, getting the duvet and squashing it around us as he follows my order.
I can still hear him chuckle at me as I drift off again rather easily...
