Jungkook was out with Namjoon, Jimin and Y/N, driving around the city. They had nothing to do really but they were spending meaningful time together regardless.
Windows down, music playing, long conversations full of laughter. Except Jungkook noticed that Jimin and Y/N were talking quite a lot.
Namjoon was driving them to a restaurant as they all deemed themselves to be hungry, the pair were immersed with excitement. Jungkook would stare at Y/N with these puppy eyes unconsciously but no one noticed.
The brown-haired younger got sadder as the two kept their conversation going while they waited for food; they were only talking about TV shows, yet he felt left out. Even Namjoon had things to say but Jungkook just wanted his girlfriend's attention.
He begun playing with her hair, subtly and to Y/N's enjoyment as she flashed him a smile. He tugged her arm gently, signalling that he wanted her to face him properly.
"Wait okay~" She said in a soft tone, causing Jungkook to nod and pout.

After they all ate and began their small walk back to the car, Jungkook intertwined his hand with Y/N's, the female smiling shyly at the action. She thought it was cute, that he was just being clingy.
She didn't know he was confused and feeling demotivated, he didn't mind her not talking to him all the time but he thought she specifically didn't want to talk to him. So, even though they were sitting together in the car, Jungkook got his phone out and texted her.

Y/N What's wrong?? Why are you texting me when I'm right here?
Y/N glanced at him, knowing that he noticed but his eyes were glued on their conversation. She turned to the window, feeling sleepy before seeing more messages pop up.
Kookie Are you mad at me?
Y/N Ofc not! Why would you think that?
Jungkook You've been avoiding me this entire day
Y/N No no, I've just been talking with Jimin I'm sorry baby 😅💗
Kookie But You're even sleeping facing the window You usually would sleep closer to me 😢

Y/N looked up and faced Jungkook again, seeing him dejected. Poking his shoulder gently, Jungkook turned his head in slight surprise.
She pecked his lips, the two smiling as Jungkook opened his arms. She placed his head in the crook of his neck and they snuggled together, napping soundlessly as the two males in the front silently awed at the scene of cuteness behind them.
