Midorima x Reader

You were walking through the halls of teiko talking to momoi. She was going on about the night before where she found out that she was in love with kuroko tetsuya. They were all in the year lower than yours since you were a third year.
"He's nice, I've seen him in the library a few times" you said she gave you an odd look.
"You saw him?" You nodded, not thinking much about it.
"How in earth did-" she was cut short from her rant as she walked into someone.

A box of tea leaves flew into the air and you caught it as it was about to hit the ground. You looked back to momoi who was rubbing her but.
"Honestly momoi, at least watch where your going nanodayo" you heard a familliar voice and turned to the green haired boy who was allready up and holding a hand out for her to take.

She took it and then apologised as she patted her clothes down.
"Here you go Midorima~" you smiled as you handed the jasmine tea back. "You have good taste in tea" he turned to you with slightly widened eyes and a pink tint on his cheeks. He pushed up his glasses with his taped fingers trying to hide it. You found it cute.
"T-thank you senpai" he mumbled.

"Thank you (name)-senpai, I'm sorry but I must leave" he bowed slightly and headed off.

Momoi started laughing.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" You asked flicking her forehead.
"He looked so funny with a blush on!" She exclaimed. You smiled slightly.
"He did but I thought it was cute" she stopped laughing and looked at you with a large smile.
"Are you interested in him?" You shrugged averting your eyes from the busty girl.
"Guess so" she dropped you off to class.

~after school~
You went to find momoi since practice had been cancelled you decided you would go shopping.

You walked to him and then made a move.
"Check mate" you said with a smirk. He looked at you with mild shock.
"(Name)-senpai, what are you doing here?" You shrugged obviously he wouldn't know where momoi was.
"I could ask you the same thing" you took a seat opposite him setting up the pieces again.
"I'm practicing so I can beat Akashi" you smiled
"I could show you a tip if you want~" he titled his head slightly
"Ok" he said warily.
"But it comes at a price" you added he nodded for you to continue. "We go out for some tea or something" he turned a bit pink but nodded anyway.

You started the game and it looked as if you were losing but you made the last move with the general and sat back resting your head against your folded arms.
"Checkmate" you said and he just stared at the board. "An underhand method, but a method nonetheless" you said.
"That's really clever" he mumbled, more to himself than anyone els.
"Shall we go then?" You smiled. He looked to you with a stoic expression. He nodded and then you both left.

You talked about many things, you found he wanted to be a doctor when he is older, you were into biology, though did not want to persue a career in that area. You wanted to be free with your art.
"I would like to see some of your art sometime" he said quietly, you smiled and nodded.

You entered the cafe and the manager greeted you open heartedly. You ordered some tea as well as some cake.
"It's nice that you are allready perusing your dream, mine would take longer" he said thoughtfully.
"It's much more of an important job than being an artist" he shook his head.
"I often get inspired by art, it is a way of showing emotion through colours and strokes of the brush, like they are telling a story, it's beautiful really", his voice softened at the end and you found yourself smiling as you looked into his emerald. eyes. His lower lashes quite long.
