Kise was always open, approachable. He would talk to pretty much anyone, even the outcasts of the class. Which is what you happened to be, this being a story of fate. Your meeting was purely coincidental.

"Hello...?" Kise appeared one morning at your table. You looked up unresponsive to his call from your drawing book, giving him a glance before silently looking back down and getting on.

"Why is he talking to (Name)?"
"Why would anyone talk to her?"
"She is gloomy all the time"

You heard mumbles from his fans. You ignored them, knowing the moment of hurt would pass once he leaves.
"Hey don't say mean things about (Name)-cchi!" Kise's voice sounded out like a gong in a silent hall. Your ears rang and you suddenly felt the need to look to this strange person who stood up for you.

"(Name)-cchi is cute, I've always wanted to talk to her though I never knew her name" Kise carried on filling the silence that had fallen in the classroom.
"Th-that's enough... You don't have to say that.."you mumbled, sinking further into your seat once you met with the glares of your fellow class members.

Class from then on went on as usual. You were never the one to speak out nor talk to anyone much of the fact. You had no actual reason to talk to anyone so why should you?

Silently you walked home to the comfort of your solitude. In your room wall to wall lined paintings and drawings of your thoughts, dreams, amazing scenes. You would never cease to be amazed by art. Both beautiful yet crooked, though all art told a story.

Your dream was to become an artist, you had already been scouted by many art academies. You would be leaving for America to start making your own comics once you graduate from highschool.

At dinner the maid asked about your day.
"It was good." You answered plainly. You started thinking about it. Kise Ryouta. The person who stood up for you... With pen to paper your hands started working without a second thought.

Another day of school and the whispers and mumbles were getting harder to bare with.
"Ah she is so gloomy."
"Is she depressed?"
"I wouldn't blame her, did you hear what happened to her family?"
"No, what?"
"They all died in an accident a few weeks ago.."

You abruptly stood from your chair, holding your breath you clutched your sketchpad and pencils as you ran out.
"(Name)-cchi wait!" Your ears didn't comprehend, blinded by the rush to leave, the need to just fly away. Why couldn't you just disappear?

"(Name)-cchi!" You were caught by the shoulder and spun around, a car whizzing past behind you. "Please don't run into roads!" Kise hugged you tight.

With your things sandwiched between you clung to Kise.
"It's my fault...~" you trailed off before fainting into Kise's arms.

"(Name)-cchi... Nothing is your fault"Kise said tenderly, holding you together.

Kise knew about you, though had never spoken to you. He held you princess style as he walked down the streets casually, earning looks and whispers from on lookers. Kise sighed to himself, you were a really tough person you just didn't know it.

Strolling up to your house Kise strained with the buzzer at the gates.
[Who is this?]

"I'm (Name)-cchi's friend from school. She fainted.."

[Oh dear! You better come in!]

The maid rushed to your side, asking Kise to bring you into your room.
"Mm... I really should be making her eat a lot more. Look how thin she has gone!" The maid scanned your body. Kise got your books and put them on your desk where you had many other similar sketchbooks piled up.
