Akashi x Reader x Himuro

Akashi watched with furrowed brows from his desk as (Name) walked around the house with her head set on, talking in English to someone.

"ARRGGHH I'm so excited!! When are you- oh" he frowned when a bright smile spread across her face. "I'll be there! Oh, uh one second" knowing she would turn around Akashi shut his eyes and pretended to be asleep.

You walked closer to him, inspecting him for any signs of life.

"Akashi?" You poked his cheek, yet lo and behold he was asleep.. "I'll be back in a few!" You whispered kissing his forehead. You then left.

Peeking one eye open, Akashi frowned. There was a knock on the door and then he heard your footsteps go to it quickly, denying the maid that could have opened it instead.

"Oh! I've missed you!! Come on let's go" he heard your excited voice and then the door closed. He watched from the window as you went into a sleek black car with a man with black hair. He seemed familiar.

Akashi switched on the monitor of his desk screen and then dipped into the folder 'security tapes'. Just a few moments ago, he saw the car pull up and a driver open the door for said man. His black hair covering one of his black eyes. Himuro tatsuya... Just what was he doing here? Last Akashi heard of said male was when he left for America with Atsushi.

Pulling his phone out Akashi called murasakibara.

"Akachin? It's been a while~" his lazy voice drawled out.

"Where's tatsuya?" Akashi demanded, getting straight to the point.

"Eh~ Muro-chin is out..." Well, he is no help. Disconnecting the call Akashi sat in his chair and held his head in his hands.

You were a free bird. He couldn't cage you. You were such an optimist, you kept Akashi happy. Though he couldn't stand the fact that he could loose you. He would never want that. He would die if that happened. After the death of his mother he only had you to rely on, you were his anchor to the real world. Without you he would end up in his own little delusion craving power and demanding 'peasants' to bow down to him.

He shook those thoughts away. You wouldn't leave him... He was an emperor... But you believed everyone was equal... You treated everyone as if they were all kings and queens. You were angelic in every action you did and only had other people's feelings at heart, that's what annoyed him. How could he differentiate whether he was your king or just 'another' person to you?! It was driving him mad. His body shook from both anger and sadness.

You were in the car discussing the perfect present for Akashi.

"I don't see why your being so secretive, just ask him what he wants!" Himuro said exasperated. The drive to the city was quite long, but Akashi insisted that we live in the country side, it was much more peaceful than the city.

"I told you! It would ruin the 'surprise!' element of the whole thing!" You huffed. "It has to be today! It will be too late tomorrow..." You pouted. He groaned.

"Fine but you owe me one!" He huffed.

"Thank you~" you hugged the bigger male. Who simply groaned that he was stuck with you all day, he still loved you though. No matter how optimistic or touchy-feely you get, he knew you only had the best intention at heart. Ever since you were little he knew you would always be the one to bring a smile to anyone's face. What surprised him though was the fact that you even warmed the cold heart of the red emperor.
