Akashi x Sick!Reader

Your boyfriend held your hand desperately as if you would fly away if he left you even for a second.

"Gawsh, chill out. I'm just going out for a little while, if you miss me so much you can pretend to play shogi with me again~" you teased. He only furrowed his brows.

"Are you sure your going to be ok?" He asked you nodded knowing full why he asked.

You had been getting headaches and sudden dizzy spells, strong dizzy spells that make you fall over or sometimes even faint. Last time you went out you nearly got ran over by a car... If Akashi wasn't there who knows what would have happened.

You were now walking through the streets if Kyoto to the market for some (fave snacks)... Honestly Akashi was so protective, even if you were just going to the supermarket! All he knows is that you had been feeling dizzy. There was no way he could know the truth... You didn't want him to. Nobody but the doctors and you knew. Family was a distant thing since they were taking a Holliday in the Amazon... Wow, they must have really been bored... Living without internet!? Unthinkable!

"Oof" the air was knocked out of you as a man knocked you over as he rushed into a building. He didn't even turn around to say sorry! The audacity if some people! On your hands and knees, you tired to get up but your body just wasn't responding! Feeling your chest tighten you collapsed on the floor.

Everything was a blur. First it was just one person who turned you around and was asking you whether you were ok... Then a crowd had gathered... You felt something drip on to your face. The clouds were an ominous grey as it started pouring.

You weren't breathing, your body was frozen.

"Quick call the hospital!" The voices were drained out but you heard one familiar voice... Wow! he just couldn't leave you alone for a second. You smiled internally at the thought of your over protective boyfriend as the darkness enveloped you into it's cold embrace.

You woke up to the familiar feeling of your head being weighed down by 100 bricks.

"Gawd dayum~" you mumbled fluttering your eyes open to the fluorescent lights. You were in a hospital with a nebuliser attached to your face, it was quite uncomfortable.

"Oh good your awake" a doctor came in with a ghost of a smile looking down to his clipboard.

"Hmm,got to say anything?" He shook his head.

"Good" and with that the doctor proceeded to check your stats without a word.

He then rose with a solemn expression.

"It's going to have to be sooner" your eyes widened.

"No! I still have to finish high school..." There was a moment of silence before the door slammed open revealing a seething red head.

"Oh yeah, this guy is claiming to be your boyfriend, like you could ever get a-" the doctor said in a slightly teasing tone. Scissors flew to him, getting embedded in the wall next to his head.

"I am her boyfriend!" He gritted through his teeth.

"Yeah~ about that... We're over" you said in monotone turning over to lay on your side.

"W-what"

"I'll leave you to it" the doctor was going to pat Akashi's shoulder before he left but his hand froze mid air as he received the glare Akashi shot at him.
