Your best friend/colleague placed a flyer in front of you. -Karate: self defence- it read.

"(Friends name) why are you giving me this?" You asked with a tilt of the head as you prepared the tray of medicines for your longest patient.

"You need it! The crime rates are going up, there have been even more kidnappings of innocent maidens such as ourselves!" You chuckled to her as you carried on writing prescriptions.

"Pshh, you'r anything but innocent!" She blushed a bit.

"Fine! The trainer is apparently haawwwttt!! And I wanna, you know, check him out~"

"And there's the (f/n) I know~" you teased with a smirk. She nudged you.

"Come with me!! No one els will!"

"See, look there's-" you tried looking around for any other personnel, but no. Curse you for being stuck with (f/n)...

"PLEASE!!" She begged with puppy eyes pawing at your uniform.

"Oh glob! (F/n) fine! Get up! Your embarrassing me!" You looked frantically around when spontaneously the halls were filled with nurses and night doctors...

"Yayah! Meet me tomorrow 2pm in Starbucks~"

"Your buying me food" you stated, rather than asked. She giggled slightly.

"Yes I'll buy you food~" a car horn was heard and she then gave you a kiss on the cheek before heading off. Her shift ended a while ago but she always hung with you for a while until her cab came to pick her up.

You shook your head slightly at the weird pervertedness of your friend... You loved her though. Walking into a patient's room with a smile, the old man gave you a warming smile.

"Are you excited to finally be out if here?" You asked tending to the man with some warm water and medication.

"Hmm, thing is though, I won't be able to see your smile anymore, that lights up my day~" you gave a chuckle.

"If you go for regular walks like your doctor advised you would see me a lot" you smiled though his faltered.

"There have been a lot of kidnapping cases recently, you shouldn't be out" you didn't look at him.

"I can handle myself, besides (f/n) and I would be joining self defence classes tomorrow so not to worry mr nijimura" he smiled softly.

"That's good, (f/n) is such a funny girl" you chuckled.

"Never fails to make someone smile huh?" He nodded in agreement.

There was a moment of silence as he took his medication and you logged down what he had.

"Has any news come from the missing people's cases?" He asked.

"Nothing yet, I'm sure they will catch them though. Good always prevails" you said assuring yourself at the same time.

"Hmm, could you bring the old record in? I want to listen to it before I leave tomorrow" you chuckled and bid to the man's request.

You were on your way home after your shift. You lived nearby so there was no need to call a cab. Frankly you found that scarier than actually walking outside... You looked up to the nights sky, midnight blue making you smile slightly. There were little stars that could be seen, but that's because it's harder to see with all the back light... Not to mention there were heavy clouds seeming to spin slightly... Woah, that's cool...
