You've got it all worked out with so little time
Memories that I blacked out if you were mine
-----------------------------------------------------------

"Historia Reiss, wife of Ymir Reiss. You work at the front desk, is that right?" Eren asked, Levi prepared to write down any and all information.

The girl before them was sat in a chair, hooked up to a lie detector machine.

"Yes." She spoke simply, her voice soft.

"She's telling the truth." Dot Pixis spoke, the main man that knows all about these machines. He was here to make sure that everyone was telling the truth.

"Now, did you have any relations with any of the suspects listed?" Eren asked, crossing his arms and leaning more on one leg.

"Only Sasha and Connie. Sasha and I were really great friends, but we drifted apart over the years. We hadn't spoken to each other in a little over a year." She spoke, clasping her hands together and putting them on her lap. She was staring right at Eren, no sign of fear and guiltiness was evident.

"Alright. Can you think of anyone who might have wanted to kill Sasha?" Eren moved his weight onto his other leg.

"Not really. In highschool she was either loved or hated by someone. Lots of people thought she was extremely annoying. See, she spoke her mind. She had no self-control when it came to speaking or eating. It made her such a unique person. Though people may have found her annoying, no one would have wanted to dead." She finished, her voice still strong. Eren could tell she was taking this death somewhat hard, seeing as the two girls used to be close.

"Alright, last question Historia." Eren leaned forward, placing both hands on the table and looking Historia straight in her eyes. "Did you kill Sasha Blouse, Connie Springer, and everyone else The Hunter has killed?"

"No, I am not the murderer." She spoke, then looked towards Pixis.

"She's telling the truth."

--------------------------------------------

"Jean Kirstein, you are a Grade Z detective/officer. Is this correct?" Eren spoke to Jean, wanting this to be over already.

"Of course it's correct! You were at the ceremony where it happened. Plus we've known each other for years!" Jean snapped, his fists clenching. He quickly released his fisted hands, knowing that could mess with the detector.

"Don't get snappy, Horsie Boy. Now, did you have any relations with any of the victims?"

"No, I didn't. I may have come across them once or twice while living here, but I never knew anyone personally." Jean spoke honestly, staring right at Eren. Eren nodded, then asked another question.

"Are you the murderer, Jean?"

"No, I'm not that sick bastard." Jean spat out, his voice angry.

"He's telling the truth." Pixis spoke, leaning back in his chair.

------------------------------------------------------

"Mikasa Ackerman. Cousin of Levi Ackerman. Newest special investigator in the department. Is this all true?" Eren asked, reading off the paper before him. He knew Mikasa was innocent, but he still had to interrogate her.

"Yes, that is all true." She spoke and sat motionlessly. Her face void of emotion, yet that was common in the Ackerman family.

"Did you have any relations to any of the victims?" Eren asked, becoming extremely bored. He leaned up against the back wall, one leg up and against the wall.

They had been in that room for hours on end, endlessly asking questions. It was tiring, and their chief wasn't even helping in the slightest.

"No, I did not." Mikasa spoke simply, bored of having to answer questions even though it had only been a short amount of time.

"Mikasa, are you the murderer?" Levi spoke this time, clearly aggravated they were getting no leads.

"No, I am not the murderer Levi."

"She is telling the truth." Pyxis nodded his head whilst speaking.

------------------------------------------------------

"God, this is getting us no where." Eren complained, falling backwards onto a chair. His head leaning back, he stared up at the gray ceiling. His hair had also fallen backwards, keeping any loose strands out of his face.

"I know. It's been a week and we only just finished with the Police Force and Agency." Levi agreed, slowly walking over to where the brunette sat.

It was obvious that Eren was tired and frustrated, his eyes burned with said frustration. They had no leads, nothing at all. There was no one with any information in the entire force.

Levi walked behind Eren and placed his hands on his shoulders, slowly massaging his shoulder blades. Pyxis had long since left the two men alone, for he had other jobs to do. So that left Levi and Eren alone with their thoughts.

"Eren, do you remember Barth Dyson and Ryan Brown? Well, their tests results came back unclear. Except for the main question. I get this is a stretch, but maybe they are our leads." Levi said, staring straight ahead at the door. His mind working a million miles a minute, trying to come up with any clues that would help them.

"That's true. But they're new. Armin also came up with an inconclusive answer on one question. But it was due to nerves. But then again, those two seem very untrustworthy."

"Exactly," Levi agreed. "Whoever their boss is put them up to this. And we need to figure out who. And I'm pretty sure I know who that bastard is."

"Kenny?" Eren asked, knowing the answer.

"Kenny." Levi nodded.
