"Winter is coming, my love." A brunette with sparkling turquoise eyes said whilst standing and looking out a window all dramatic like. He had a hand over his chest and the other was clenched into a fist. He slowly turned his head to see his boyfriend looking at him.

Said boyfriend was just about to sip his tea when his lover said such a stupid sentence. He looked at the brunette boy, eyes narrowing and concern casting over his face.

"It's December 24th Eren, it's been winter for a few days now." He said slowly, sipping his all slow like as well.

"Oh shut up. I'm trying to act all dramatic and cool!" Eren whined, throwing his head back and making his way to where his boyfriend sat.

"You're always dramatic!" His lover retorted, putting his steaming hot cup of tea down on the side table and looking up to where his lover was standing.

"But Levi," Eren quickly walked over and dropped down to get on both his knees. He then took Levi's hands in his own. "Christmas time is the best time to be dramatic." He spoke, looking directly into his lovers soft blue-gray eyes.

"And why is that?" Levi asked, his eyebrow arching upwards. A small smile rested on his lips.

"Because Christmas is the time to have fun and be stupid! It is such a carefree holiday when you really think about it. And also, there is the huge snowstorm happening outside." He nonchalantly pointed out the window at the huge snowstorm that wad attacking their city. It was one of the worst snowstorms in years.

The snow banged up against the house, sticking to the windows and house panels. There was actual ice all over the windows, and their driveway was also all ice.

"Didn't think it would get that bad." Levi mumbled, picking up his cup of tea and drinking it again. Eren hadn't moved from his crouched position, just laying his head on Levi's lap and looking out into the cold, snowbound world beyond the window.

"What's on your mind, love?" Levi asked, placing the cup back down and moving one of his hands to pet Eren. His fingers started playing with his brown hair, making it unnaturally sticking up in places. Eren sighed, turning his head slightly and looking back up at Levi.

"I really wanted to visit mom and...dad tomorrow, but with this storm I don't know how we could." Eren said, standing up from his crouched position and walking over to their kitchen to make a hot drink.

Levi looked down at his tea, even if there was only half a cup left he would take the price of having cold tea to help his boyfriend.

"Eren, I understand how much you want to visit them. It's been 3 years, and the wound is still healing. It may take a while for it to heal, but it will eventually. Love, you should think about spending time with the family you still have left. And not the family that, unfortunately, left you." Unsure if his words would help, he still went to Eren and hugged him.

The entire time Eren had been pouring hot water into a cup and mixing in hot chocolate mix. But by the time Levi had finished talking, tears were slowly coming down his face.

"You really have a way with words." Eren said jokingly, turning around and giving him a small sad smile. Levi took a step back and grabbed his hands.

"What is the true meaning of Christmas? Is it to sit around and give presents to loved ones? Is it to give cheerful vibes to everyone you meet. Is it to celebrate some brat being born?" Levi started asking, naming off different options as to what christmas truly means.

"I think that brat born was you, Levi." Eren said, wiping away his stray tears and smiling brightly. Levi chuckled before hugging the brunette once more.

"But I really think the meaning of Christmas is to show your loved ones how much you love them. Maybe even how much you have grown ever since they left. Carla and Grisha are, probably, so proud of how much you have grown since their deaths." Levi mumbled into his lovers chest. He heard Eren choke out more tears and start crying even more.

After a few minutes, Eren started to calm down. He cleaned himself up and went to sit over next to Levi, who had found his way back over to his cup of tea. They sat there, in almost complete silence. The snowstorm that was going on outside was raging on, harder than before.

"Damn it." Levi muttered, slamming his cup of tea on the side table.

"What's wrong?" Eren asked, gulping down his hot chocolate.

"Due to me being such a nice person, my tea is now cold." Levi huffed, slumping down in their couch.

"Oh Levi, it's not the end of the world." Eren tried to console Levi, laughing the whole time

"You don't understand, Eren. That was the last of my black tea! And I can't go out and get more because of the damn storm!" Levi pouted, crossing his arms  and pulling out his phone.

"Now look who's being dramatic." Eren said smugly, sipping his steaming hot chocolate.

"Oh shut up, Eren." Levi pouted more and started to scroll through Instagram.

"Never, my love." He leaned over and kissed Levi's cheek, causing said male to blush.
