They were best friends since their childhood because their families were friends. Sirius and Scarlett grew up together even Sirius had his own room at Scarlett's house. They were always together and inseparable duo like Bonnie and Clyde, Romeo and Juliet. Sirius always loved her more than just a friend but Scarlett just saw him as a friend or she really never thought about it. Sirius didn't say a word about his feelings because he didn't want to ruin their precious friendship. After running away from home, Sirius stayed at Scarlett's home and lived with them for a while. Ric and Aurelia saw him as a son but they didn't know about his real feelings about Scarlett,no one knew maybe just Remus and James. When he found out that she's falling for Sev, he tried hard to get her to love him and told his feelings. They both suffered from pain and sadness but she couldn't help it. Her love for Severus was much more bigger. Despite all the things Sirius did, Scarlett didn't change her mind. Maybe if he's told his feelings before Severus, Scar could be with him.
