  Summer stares down at her children piling onto Luke. Moments like these made her giggle and think back down the path she's been on to get here.

After moving to Australia with Luke she graduated with a masters degree in neurological science, wanting to be able to help with mental illness. And she did. On the job one day she met a little boy named Wyatt that suffered with stuttering and speaking differences. He was also in foster care. Summer fell in love with the little six year old and wanted to give him a home.

Wyatt met Luke who felt the same for the boy. Luke treated Wyatt like his own son. At twenty five Luke and Summer began to foster Wyatt and a year later adopted him as their own.

At twenty seven, Summer got pregnant for the first time with another boy. Wanting to pay tribute to her brother they named the boy Khai Heaven Hemmings, spelt differently and pronounced the same. Khai looked exactly like Luke. Blue eyes, light blonde hair, a cute nose and lanky body.

Then again at twenty eight she had a girl. They weren't sure what to call the girl at first. Both Luke and Summer wanted the name to hold meaning. Faye Ellie Hemmings was born prematurely at thirty weeks. This was scary for both Luke and Summer, and stressful for Wyatt. He wanted a sister and Luke and Summer wanted their daughter.

The name Faye means fairy or loyalty. Luke thought it fit for their little girl who was as tiny as a fairy when born and loyal and strong to pull through for them.

Now here they are at 34. Still looking young as ever of course. Wyatt's fifteen and striving in his speech, playing soccer just like his father. Khai is seven and in second grade. His current passion is dinosaurs and learning about prehistoric times. As for Faye, the little six year old is a perfect mix of her mom and dad. She has shiny green eyes and brown hair with her fathers nose, pasty skin, and long legs. And just like her oldest brother she's into soccer, yet is infatuated with flowers and mythological things

Luke's content with his life. He's a soccer coach for Wyatt's team and a stay at home dad. Summer does her job as a neurologist, assisting psychologists in making diagnoses. The pair agreed they didn't want to be married. A piece of paper was just that, they still loved each other endlessly with just some promise rings.
