Luke's championship is today, that's all I wanted to have my mind focused on. Sometimes I feel like I drown him in my issues, and to makeup for it I wanted to be fully selfless today. I put on my schools hoodie and some leggings and boots for school. I don't care if I get dress coded, it's too cold to wear a uniform.

My parents are downstairs, something I'm still not used too. Dads cooking breakfast while mom reads her book. I linger by the entrance. If I make a dash for it, I won't have to talk to them. That plan however is ruined when the floor creaks.

Mom peaks up, Dad turns around. "Good morning." Mom quips, smiling then looking down to her book.

Dad looks me up and down. "Want some breakfast? Your up early."

"No, I actually go to practice with Luke in the morning. So I'm going to get going..." I drag on and begin to turn.

"Wait, Summer." I turn back around and Mom is getting out of her chair padding over to me. "We have to talk eventually."

I smile convincingly. "And we will. Just not today. Tomorrow?"

"Yeah, love you?"

I kiss her soft cheek. "Love you too Mom."

Luke's truck sits outside my house. His music is loud and I watch him air guitar the unfamiliar sound. When I open the door her stops and looks at me with embarrassment. "Luke Hemmings, what am I going to do with you?" I giggle sliding into the car and pecking his lips.

"Love me. Support me. Be there for me." He shrugs pulling away from the curb.

"Always Luke."

School drags on, but I stay focused and do my work as usual. The game didn't start till four and school ends at two. While Luke and Calum prepared on the field I sat on the bleachers and worked on all of my homework from the day. Easier for me to get it done now rather then stay up, that would give me a headache.

As it gets closer to four, students begin to file in. The game was about to start and I was still on my own. I walk down the bleachers and get close to the team and wave Calum and Luke over.

"You guys ready?" Im smiling proud of my boy, my friends.

"Yeah, thanks for staying baby." Luke laughs.

"Aye Hemmings, Hood! Games starting!" Their coach yells.

"One moment!" Luke yells back.

"You okay?" Calum asks.

"Yeah I just don't see the other boys."

Luke frowns. "They'll be here soon. I love you, okay?"

I nod, leaning up and kissing his cheek. "Kill em." The boys jog away and I go back to my seat.

First quarter of the game began, our team getting a pick at the ball first. I've never been keen on soccer, but boy could I watch Luke play all day. The look of concentration on his face was riveting. How he'd laugh when getting a goal. I pull my phone out and take a video of Calum and him passing the ball to one another. They were enjoying their time—the other team had no effect on them.

Second quarter, Michael and Ashton arrive with Crystal. I've avoided Mike and his lady friend since I freaked out on our double date. I have to make it right though.

When half time come I lean over Ashton's shoulder and make eyes with the girl. "Is it okay if I steal you from Mike for a second?"

Crystal laughs, a bit surprised. "Of course I don't mind."

We help one another down the bleachers and walk towards the snack shack. "I want to apologize for how I acted as soon as you mentioned Kai."

"It's okay, I understand. I didn't mean to cause you distress." She frowns.

"No, really. I just haven't coped yet with all that happened and how it effected my family." I sigh. Letting this out felt good. And so maybe I am curious why she was there the night my brother overdosed.

It was as if she read my mind. "Do you want to know what I saw."

"Yeah, just make it quick. I don't want to miss the game."

Crystal nods and begins to tell me the story. "Long story short. My older friend had invited me to this college party. I was 16? Maybe 17, I don't remember." She frowns remembering what happens. "There were some hard drugs there. Kai was watching out for everyone. And someone was holding the pipe for him letting him smoke the crack, and he inhaled to much. His body wasn't used to it. We called 911 and you know the rest."

"So it wasn't on purpose." I wipe away the rolling tears and smile. One of my worst fears was that he was killing himself.

"No. It was all one big accident."

I hug Crystal. "Thank you."

We return to the stands just in time to see the last quarter start. "What did I miss?" I ask Ashton.

"Nothing much, we're still up but the other teams getting angry."

I laugh. "Well they are playing against my very talented boyfriend."

"And Calum." He adds. Ashton claps as we make yet another goal.

"Yeah, Calum too." I wonder if the boys will still be here when the school year is over. "What are your plans when this all ends? Will you go back to Australia?"

"Yeah. We're all going back. There's nothing for us here..." He suddenly becomes nervous. "Ah shit, Luke didn't tell you did he?"

"Well it's never come up. I've never asked though." I shrug.

Ashton smiles. "Don't worry about it. Luke and you will figure it out."

We win the game. Luke is taking pictures with everyone, he's on a cloud full of happiness, confidence, and strength. As is Calum and all the other boys on the team. After the two boys get done with receiving their awards, they come over to the group and we all take a picture together. Calum then snaps a few pictures of me and Luke that I'll later post on some social media. Then Luke takes some of just Calum and I and Ashton takes a photo of all three of us.

We go to Luke's house to celebrate. Considering we can make as much noise as we want to there, and it's comfortable. Within walking distance of my parents want me home.

So here I am in Lukes bed, both of us drunk off our asses while everyone is still downstairs messing around with karaoke. "I'm so proud of you." I giggle.

"You already said that, like a gazillion times." Luke giggles too.

"It's because I looooove you. I love you this much." I spread my arms out.

"Well I," He beds down to my lips, whispering over them. "I love you this much." Lukes lips take over my own. His fingers reach under my hoodie and slim down my naked side causing a soft moan to fall from my lips. Luke takes this moment to softly lead his tongue in. His is warm against mine, so inviting.

I pull at his shirt wanting it off. I want to feel his beautiful body. He laughs when our lips detach, leaning up and taking off his shirt. "I love you baby. I love you so much."

I lean up and take my hoodie off, showing my Nike sports bra that lies underneath. My arms wind around his neck and I kiss all over his jaw. I breathe over his lips. We're both panting in the sexual tension. "I love you too Luke. You make my day ten times better. You make my heart feel better, and my thoughts easier. I love you."

The rest of the night is our secret. What happens in Lukes room, stays in Lukes room.
