Jiang Cheng couldn't help but think of the times he was teased, all the time he behaved unruly. He had never followed the rules...he was unique. Jiang Cheng wanted to pull him into his arms, hug him tight and cerish him with all his heart...

But he was too late...

"Wuxian...," he muttered between sobs. He had fallen in love with his own adopted brother. Jiang Cheng's father only adopted him, because of his similarity to the woman he loved...

But, Jiang Cheng loved him wholeheartedly.

A soft knock could be heard from the door. Jiang Cheng's eyes had turned puffy and there were even snot in his nostrils. Jiang Cheng quickly cleaned up qnd opened the door.

He thought that it might be a normal disciple, so he could reprimand him all he liked, as it was really close to the Lan's curfew. He wanted to vent all these unspoken feelings to someone, but he couldn't do it...

Not when it was Lan Xichen.

The man stood, his expression worried. Jiang Cheng could read nothing else other than the surface. That worried expression, coupled with a small innocent smile on his face...

Jiang Cheng felt as if he fell in love again.

He had fallen in love with the pure and innocent smile Wei Wuxian gave him the moment he set foot into Yunmeng. He was reluctant to send away his dogs, but in the end, he didn't regret it. All his old feelings tumbled into him like waves.

"Wanyin, are you alright?"

Hearing his given name roll out of Lan Xichen's mouth, he felt himself shiver. How it seemed so perfect...and nice...

Had Wei Wuxian ever called him by his given name? Jiang Cheng wondered a lot of things. In the end, he would swallow his questions and stare blankly at the handsome Ze Wu-Jun in front of him.

"Wanyin, I heard sobs coming from your courtyard," Lan Xichen said, "I am really worried, please answer me, are you okay?"

Jiang Cheng just looked down, his eyes shadowed by his bangs.

Even his rival's big brother had to come and comfort him...what an embarassment...

But, although he thought that, his body fell forward into Lan Xichen's embrace. In his mind, he wanted to let everything go, he wanted to feel the warmth like how he felt with Wei Wuxian...

"Jiang...Wanyin?" Lan Xichen cautiously asked.

"Let me be like this for a while...," Jiang Cheng murmured.
