"Congratulations, you are pregnant," the doctor said, putting his tools back into the bag he took everywhere with him. Meanwhile, you blanked out.

You were really...pregnant?

Being an Omega was hard. They were the least of the population, they had to 'belong' to Alphas and even Betas scorned them. In addition, no matter what gender an Omega was, the Omega could become pregnant.

You couldn't believe that a baby would grow inside of you...that was inconceivable. Only Alphas would be able to impregnate an Omega. For Betas it was a slim chance.

You, a wandering cultivator, was coincidentally an Omega. In addition, you had lived independently all this time, no Alphas and no Betas by your side, disturbing you. Of course, you were extremely happy and satisfied with the peaceful life. Making small cottages out of wood and stayed for a few months each time. You led a fulfilling life. Just you and your sword.

But that day, when you visited a city, your life changed forever.

He was drunk, he was on his rut as well. He was an Alpha. An existence you couldn't run away from, as an Omega. Not only that, you felt your heat coming. Never in your life had you felt so weak. The Alpha took you, brought you through the throes of pleasure, until he fainted.

You cried for a while. Your mother was an Omega after all. She was discarded by her Alpha...and she didn't want you to experience the same. You still remembered what she said...

"Do not trust Alphas...they will never cerish you."

He fainted after the momentary pleasure. You felt so dirty, but you forced yourself to stand up and brought the young Alpha with you. To think that the Alpha that took you was way younger than you...you felt so pathetic. You were clearly older and signuficantly stronger, yet your status as an Omega made you submit to the young Alpha.

You brought the Alpha back to your cottage out of pity. Nursed him to health...the Alpha forgot about you, but you suffered the humiliation alone. The feeling of being defiled...you shuddered at the slightest thought...

"[Y/n], are you alright?" While you stayed in the Lanling area, you frequented this tavern. The liquor was cheap, but now, you opted to drink water. Although you didn't want the child growing inside you, you didn't want to throw the child away. Like your mother, you would take care of your child with love, regardless if that Alpha was with you or not.

It was one time during a night hunt, you felt queasy. You told your companions you weren't feeling well and retched all your breakfast. Your companions were all Betas, and they suggested that you were pregnant.

You couldn't believe what they were saying, but that month's heat indeed didn't come. You called for a doctor...and the answer was what you dreaded...

You had a child.

"I'm fine...," you replied. You were definitely not fine. Your belly would grow big...how could you face your mother's grave like that?

You stayed for another nine months, until your child was born. At the same time, a certain Alpha also received the news.
