Arthit had  been extremely studious and industrious since he was in his higher secondary school.  To the pass the exam  with flying colours , definitely would  land him in one of the esteemed universities in Bangkok.  Industrial Engineering, that's what he wanted to do.  He never had anyone particular in life except his parents and his friends.  Though he had  witnessed many girls professing their love to him, but he never accepted them.  As his studies was first priority in his teens, he concentrated only  fulfilling it.  He never had someone in life, but might be in future, but not at that time of his life.

He moved in to the school dorm and made it his habit to take a morning stroll in the campus to freshen his day, everyday.  That particular day also as he was passing by his class lounge, he moved around the tree, which he always frequented.  But when reaching  there , he saw a boy lying behind the tree.  At first he was shocked to see such a discovery in the morning, but later recovered quickly, he went near him and saw that the boy lay there lifeless.  He was lying to his left side with his knees pulled towards his chest, as if he was shivering because of cold.  He faintly remembered the boy whom he had saved from those seniors who literally manhandled him.  At that time he felt very angry  and disgrace to see such a skinny, coward boy, who could not stand up for him.  But then seeing him in his condition, he felt apathy for the boy.  He was little tall, lean and weak boy.  He immediately tried to wake him up, but to no avail.  Seeing the urgency of the situation, he ran towards his  warden's office and immediately called his attention.   The boy was carried by the warden and himself to the office.  The warden sprinkled  some water on his face to bring him out of his unconsciousness.  But still he did not come to his senses.

The boy was taken to the hospital and was left in the care of the duty doctor.  Arthit did not think anything about the boy, after he was left in an ambulance to the hospital.  He thought that the boy was weak and needed much care and attention by his parents.  Satisfied by his act, he went to his dorm to get ready for his routine classes.  Arthit after his classes was lazing with his friends, when he saw his warden passed by.  Arthit thought of the boy and went to the warden to inquire about his health.  The warden gave a positive reply and stated the reason for his passing was due to  starvation.

Arthit  for the  first time thought about the boy's parents, how careless of them to leave their boy alone in the night without looking for him.  He wondered whether  his parents loved him or thought him as a burden.  He felt sorry and pity for the boy.  He, for the first time in life regretted on his words which he uttered to him.  He might not know his family situation or the grief, but at least he felt something was not right with the boy, especially his MIND.  And yet that day he felt as if he wanted to tell something to him, which Arthit felt was of great importance to the boy, especially in connection with him.

After a week, he saw the boy in the campus, still weak and fragile but determined in his steps.   His steps spoke of his strong will to claim something, that would be his freedom to live.  Strangely he felt that the boy's Claim was something related to him.  He did not understand what, but he felt knock out and eerie.
