Silhouette

Arthit felt as if he was constantly being watched and shadowed throughout day and once at night, well once he felt when he suddenly jolted from his deep slumber because of a nightmare.  When he woke up fully drenched in his sweat,  he noticed that a dark silhouette of a man or perhaps of a boy was peering into his room from the opposite building.  As soon as he sighted that, he immediately went outside the balcony to spot him.  But there was no one and the curtains were fully drawn at the opposite of the window facing his room.  Sensing that as his own fancy because of the dream which was a terrible one, he came back and drank a glass of water and tried to sleep but to no avail.

Day by day, Arthit was losing his sleep and was experiencing headaches, loss of appetite since he felt he was shadowed and followed every day and night.  He became hysterical and was taken to the College dispensary and prescribed  sleeping pills.  His friends took turns to wait on him and he slept for two long days without any dreams or nightmares.  His friends were worried about him and informed his parents.  Arthit's parents immediately arrived to take care of their son.  They thought of a better idea and took Arthit along with them to their house for some rest and recovery.  His friends were relieved , because of the recent incidents in their college and they thought that away from the strange and weird happenings, they felt Arthit would be safe with them.BUT SOMEBODY WAS NOT.........................

Few days back, Arthit was just a normal student and a head hazer who hazed his first years with full fervour, vigour and commitment.  But since he heard about the molesting of a first year student and thereby end of the  molester remained a mystery till the date, he started acting weird.   Kim as Arthit knew was a good, strong willed student and who had a huge crush on Arthit, well Arthit too had. But he did not want to commit to anyone as his ambition was the foremost thing in his life. But suddenly, Kim stopped meeting him and even teasing him.  Arthit did not cross road with him for past few days.  He came to know that he changed his dorm and lived somewhere outside the college campus.  He stopped coming to the college and was caught few times in a rift with another first year boy and almost wounding him.   But then one fine day, he heard the news that Kim molested the  first year student and the next day, he committed suicide in his dorm, leaving a note that read , what he did was indeed a grave crime and so he was ashamed to live his life by tainting his  parents' image.

Arthit lost his senses because the day before Kim had called him to meet him since he had to  inform about something important to him.  But Arthit was angry because of his sudden change in his behavior, so he very rudely disconnected his call saying he would not meet him.  But he was stuck by Kim's pleading voice to meet  him.  At that time, he did not mind it, but when he came to know about his suicide, he was so depressed that he got panic attacks and also that shadow which was following him.  One day after the shower,when he came out of his bathroom and he was wiping his wet hair , he felt the same disgust which he felt when in his higher secondary school, as if someone was sucking his nipples and that time his navel.

Life for Arthit became dreadful and also he started blaming himself for Kim's suicide.   The whole college was shocked by the turn of events in a matter of just few weeks.  Nobody knew why Kim molested Kong, since there were witnesses to that incident and  the next day, his suicide.  But all felt happy that Kong was saved before anything more bad happened to him, although Kong  was  traumatized by his molester and his untimely death.
