'Visions.'

I shot up from my place on the hammock and fell off with a thud. I groaned and rubbed my head. Let me just get this straight. I had a dream where I woke up that felt real enough for me to believe I was truly awake and on top of that, I also saw the same visions. This was really not my week. I looked around and pinched myself just to make sure I was awake for sure. Spoiler alert, I was. it was 4 am, the Avengers were leaving in an hour to retrieve Loki's scepter.

I grabbed a notebook from my desk and sat down. I started to write about everything I saw in my 'visions'. Once I started, I couldn't stop. I wrote about everything I saw in great detail. I wrote about the boy and girl with remarkable powers, about the city falling apart, people dying. a yellow stone and a red robot who was worthy enough to carry Thor's hammer. That's the part that pushed me to believe that this might be real, it seems crazy but why would I dream about something so specific? I had a bad feeling and it started with Sokovia.

When I had filled up 14 pages front and back of information It was 20 minutes to 5, they should be awake and suiting up. Notebook in hand I peered out into the empty hallway and sprinted to the elevator, I had to admit. I was beyond terrified, It was still dark out but the dream was so convincing I thought I might run into the messed up suit any second. My heart raced as the elevator door took longer than usual to open, it was probably just my imagination. I impatiently pressed the close door button repeatedly and tapped my foot in anxiety. When I finally arrived at the jet pad I saw the Avengers loading up the jet and I ran to Tony.

"What're you doing up squirt?"

"I had another vision, I have a bad feeling about Sokovia..." I handed him my notebook and motioned for him to read.

"You alright?" He closed the notebook and put it in the crook of his arm to investigate me.

"Yes! Please, you have to listen, your mission, it's not safe. You can't go!" I half screamed and pulled the book back from him and shoved it towards him.

"Woah, calm down." it was as if he was taming a wild horse.

"What's wrong Astrid?" Nat and Steve came over.

"No! You don't understand I see death, destruction, just read!" I ignored them and kept talking to Tony. I made him take the book from me but instead of reading it he closed it and slid it into his shirt.

"We can't cancel this, it's not up for discussion. We don't even know if what you saw is real, Maybe you just have an active imagination. I promise I'll read it when we come back." He said and walked away.

"What's wrong?" Steve asked.

"Nothing, nevermind," I muttered under my breath and watched as the jet started up. Cap and Nat joined when everyone started to board in.

"Good luck," I said before they were out of hearing distance, they cast me a guilty look and offered a small wave and a smile.

When they left I made my way back to my room. I wouldn't be able to sleep knowing that I have an idea of what might be to come. I paced my room second guessing my 'visions'. I hoped with all my heart they were wrong and that they were just a figment of my overactive imagination as Tony had said but I had a sickening feeling it was much more.

I opened my phone to try and use it as a distraction and saw I had many missed calls and texts from my friends at school. They were wondering why I wasn't at school. I typed a message that I was sick and would see them on Monday then closed my phone and headed to the office, It was a room with 4 available computers. I didn't bring my laptop with me so I went to one of the computers and opened a browser.

I spent 2 hours searching for any clue of what I saw in my visions but couldn't find anything. I didn't think I would find anything about Loki's scepter or Sokovia being linked to it, only a few people knew anyway, but it was worth a try. I gave up and took a book to the level of the jet pads and decided to wait there till they came back.

An hour and a half later they landed. I stood as the jet came into view. Maria and Helen joined me. Everyone came out unharmed except Clint.

"Hey kiddo." Nat said as she passed me while following hawkeyes stretcher in.

"Oh my Gods what happened?" I quickly rushed after them.

"I'll be alright don't worry." Clint said from the stretcher.

He was brought to the lab and Helen brought out a new piece of tech that regenerates tissue. Crazy. I looked into the room besides and saw they had successfully gotten ahold of the scepter. Tony soon joined and handed everyone green juice. I heard him bring up a party and my mind immediately went to the vision I had a while back.

I followed him and Bruce to the room with the scepter and listened in as they talked about 'Ultron, a global peacekeeping initiative' Tony didn't want to tell the rest about his idea to make Ultron A.I but didn't tell me to go away so I stayed. Bruce compiled but before they could get to work I went over to Tony.

"When will you read about what I saw?" I asked him.

"I'll read it after I finish this work with Ultron, we only have 3 days with this thing." He pointed to the scepter.

"Tomorrow, if your feeling better you can go back to Rosa's."

"I'm perfectly fine, I can go back tonight if that's ok." It was Sunday right now and I wanted to go back to school tomorrow, it didn't look good on me starting school late in the semester and then being absent the same week you came in.

I stayed in the lab listening and watching as Tony and Bruce worked nonstop on the artificial intelligence. I went up for lunch and brought back a box of pizza for them. I kept up and understood somewhat of what they were talking about. At 7 pm it was time to leave. I said goodbye to everyone and reminded Tony to read the notebook as soon as he finished his work with Ultron. Then Happy dropped me back to the apartment.
