The car ride was silent for the most part. It was farther than I expected, around 2 hours. Happy and Tony chatted amongst themselves while I just rested my head on the door and looked out the window, it was dark out and we were in the middle of nowhere so there wasn't much to see. I was still a bit ticked off at Tony even though I know going to school isn't the smartest idea right now.

"You'll see them again, you know that right?"

"Mhm." I hummed, not really in the mood for conversation.

"It's for your own good, I'm not against you, I'm doing this for you."

"I know you are. Just tired, and I know Steve and Nat aren't gonna let me slack off."

"You can sit out the first day."

"Only 20 minutes left, hang in there Astrid." Happy said meeting eyes with me in the rearview mirror.

"I'll live." I sighed and went back to resting my head on the window.

After passing a security gate, with large metal fences, we made our way to the large facility, it had multiple buildings surrounding and 2 main connected ones. We pulled up to the front and me and Tony got out while Happy took the car to the parking garage along with my luggage.

"This is it." Tony motioned to the large facility, it looked all business for the most part.

"Where is everyone?"

"Living quarters, follow me." He started towards the doors.

Agents and staff were bustling everywhere. We winded through the maze of halls and business room and soon crossed a large courtyard which connected to what I assumed to be the rooms. Tony scanned his access card and the large glass door slid open to reveal a modern looking living space, I heard the familiar voice of Nat and Sam and dragged Tony to the source of the sound.

"Tasha!" I squealed and let go of Tony's hand to hug her.

"Hey, kiddo! You were supposed to be here hours ago!" She rubbed my head, purposely ruining my hair.

"We got held up." Tony explained.

"Hey, Sam!" I gave him a fistbump then turned back to Nat.

"Where're the others?"

"Vision and Wanda are out on a walk, Steve is in the gym, and Rhodey's down in the office."

"Alright, I'm gonna go find Rhodes. Sam, Nat, wanna give frosty the grand tour?" He nicknamed me Frosty cause my favorite power was ice. Has a name for practically everyone.

"Yea, sure thing rusty." Sam winked at me and got off the couch.

"Mhm, nice to see you too, bird." Tony grumbled and walked away.

"And that's the last room." Sam finished. We walked through the whole 3 levels of living space and recreation. Tomorrow they'd show me around the main building, though not entirely sure I'm even allowed to be hanging around there. When we passed the gym we couldn't see Steve so he probably went to shower. Lastly, they showed me everyone's personal rooms.

"And this is yours." Nat motioned to the door in front of us that had a little plaque with my name on it.

I opened it to reveal a beautiful room, it had a black and grey marble floor, high ceiling, a sitting area, and tv, but most eye-catching was the large bed, the frame was outlined with multiple bookshelves.
