Calum:
"You can't date yet! You're just 16!" Cameron whispered but kind of yelled at his younger sister, being over-protective like he always has.
"But Cam. . ." Sofia started. "I really like Sky. He's also a great guy."
"He's part of the basketball team, Sof." Cameron scoffed. "He's probably a dick."
"Shut up! You don't know him as much as I know him!" Sofia yelled at her brother. "You're just being protective."
"How can I not be protective? You're my sister and you know very well that I care about you and your feelings." Cameron said sincerely.
"Are you guys fighting?" Calum came upstairs and to Sofia's bedroom.
"She wants to go on a date." Cameron spilled it Calum. He just wanted to keep his sister to be safe.
"Is that true, Sof?" Calum looked over to Sofia and asked her.
Sofia looked guilty and her face turned red, "Yes- yes, dad. If it's fine with you." She shyly answered.
"Does your mum know about this?" Calum asked straightly.
"I already told her and she said the decision's up to you."
"Look, sweetie. Your brother and I are worried about you. I mean, you're our little girl and we don't want you to get hurt." Calum told you daughter, full of concern in the sound of his voice and the way he looked at Sofia.
"Dad, I promise I'll be careful and I won't do anything that will break your trust." Sofia assured her dad and gave him a smile.
"Ugh, I can't believe you guys are already dating. It seems like it was only yesterday when you both run after each other in the living room and make funny noises." Calum started to be emotional and his kids just laughed at him.
"Well, at least you aren't going bald as fast as uncle Mikey." Cameron laughed.
Luke:
"How did Cameron ask you to prom?" Lucas asked her sister.
"I don't know. He just like gave me flowers." She answered. Her focus was on the television show, ANTM, not on her brother.
"Roses or what?" He asked again.
"I can't remember." She answered.
"Come on, Brooke! Help me out!" Lucas waved his hand in front of his sister's eyes. "I wanna ask someone to prom!" He added.
Brooklyn tackled Lucas and gave him a big bear hug. "Awww, my baby brother's growing up so fast!!" She said and messed up his quiff.
"Brooklyn, stop!" He giggled and foxed his hair. "Now, help me before the jocks ask her out." Lucas said. He wasn't one of the cool kids in school even if his dad is a successful music artist. He chose to be a regular boy in school and not brag about his last name.
"Promposals must be catchy and unforgettable. Try to catch everyone's attention before you ask her." Brooklyn told him. Lucas flashed a confused look. "You know, like shout her name and be like 'HEY! BE MY PROM DATE?' then of course, give her flowers, chocolates, or other stuff."
"But what if she says no? Then everyone would just laugh at me." He said. Lucas was just completely like Luke, shy and quiet unless you really get to know him.
"Shut up. Who are you asking by the way?" Brooklyn asked.
"Emma, the violinist in school." He shyly answered.
"Oh. Well I think you should just ask her privately. I mean, she's a violinist. She must be quiet and reserved and doesn't want much attention like cheerleaders."
"What should I give her?" He asked. He had a list of things: flowers, cupcakes, chocolates.
"Don't be so mainstream." Brooklyn said as she read on the list. "Try something different. Like, what does she love?"
"Cats." He answered.
"Oh no, you can't give her a cat. You're allergic to cats." Brooklyn told Lucas. "Hmm, maybe a long ass letter that states how much you like her?"
"Perfect!" He exclaimed. "Thanks, sis." He kissed her cheeks and rushed to his bedroom.
Ashton:
"Can we talk for a second, before you leave?" Ashton asked his son who's fixing his hair in front of the mirror.
"Sure, dad." He said and made his way to the living room
and Ashton followed. They sat in front of each other. Aiden has no clue of what his dad is going to say while Ashton seemed to be uneasy. He let out a big sigh, "I just want to tell you that allowing you to date doesn't mean that we're allowing you to have sex." He said.
"You and mum have raised me well, I know what's right and wrong." Aiden let out an awkward laugh. "I have no plans of having sex yet."
"No, I mean- I just don't want you to get anyone pregnant and your mum and I don't want to be grandparents just yet." Ashton tried to uplift the conversation but it was undoubtedly awkward.
"Alright, got it." Aiden smiled awkwardly. He stood up from where he is seated, "May I go now?" He asked.
"Be careful." Ashton said before his son left.
Michael:
"No, no, no." Michael mumbled. He looked so worried and uneasy when your daughter asked him if she can go out on a date with one of Alex's best friends. "I knew this day would come. I constantly feared about this day."
"Frankie's a lovely and modest boy. He's also polite whenever he comes over." You told him.
"Even if. What if he breaks her heart? I wouldn't be able to bare seeing our only daughter sad." He said worriedly. Allison was anxiously waiting in her room while you both talk about it.
"I trust our children. They grew up as good kids." You comforted him. "But I can't blame you for being over-protective. You're right, she's our only daughter and seeing her hurt kills me."
"Knock knock?" Alex came into your room. "I'm here to tell you more about Frankie. You know, to help you guys in deciding whether to allow Allie to go out with him or not." He said politely and sat at one of the chairs in your room.
"Is he in school?" Michael asked.
"Yeah, he is. He's, in fact, one of the smartest guys." Alex nodded.
And then Michael asked the most important question, "Does he make your sister happy?"
"I've seen Allison bright up and bloom ever since they started to get along each other. And the way they look at each other. . . bam! It's like the way you and mum look at each other." He explained. You smiled and looked over Michael, but he still seemed to be in doubt. "But don't get me wrong, even if he's my best mate i would burn him to death if he breaks Allison's heart."
"Your dad and I appreciate your concern. I know how protective we are towards your twin but, Michael, don't you think it's time to let Allison go and see if she's ready for reality?" You said and asked your husband.
"I'll be fine as long as that guy makes your sister happy and they won't do mistakes that would give both of them a bad reputation." Michael finally agreed to let Allison go in a date.
