Babysitting #5

"Uncle Cal, what is my daddy doing?" Amanda walked up to Calum and asked him.

He gently picked her up and made her sit on his lap. "He's playing the drums, Mandy." Calum replied.

"I like drums!" Cameron exclaimed when he heard his dad.

"But I thought you liked my instrument!" Calum blurted out.

"Nah, I changed my mind." Cameron shrugged and did air drumming. "Uncle Ash looks funny when he does that." He giggled.

"His face looks always mad." Allison said and giggled too. "Is he always mad?" Allison asked Amanda.

"No, daddy's not. He's always happy and laughing. Mum says it's annoying when daddy laughs loud but I think it's cute." Amanda told Allison.

"You have the same laugh as your dad's school girl laugh." Calum told her when he heard her giggle a bit.

"My daddy laughs very loud. It wakes me up when I'm sleeping." Alex ranted. Indeed, Michael's laugh was disturbing.

"He's also my daddy. You don't say 'my daddy' you say 'our daddy', Alex." Allison corrected her twin. This little girl is smart despite her young age.

"Brooklyn!" Cameron called for her. "Brooklyn, can I borrow your penguin?" He asked and pointed at the penguin sitting beside Brooklyn's bag.

"Pengy doesn't like boys, except for daddy." Brooklyn refused. "Boys are always naughty." She added.

"You're so mean!" Cameron shouted at Brooklyn and her eyes grew in shock. Cameron ran towards the penguin and snatched it and ran off.

"Cameron!!" Brooklyn shouted and attempted to chase Cameron around the room. "Give it back!!"

"Cameron Xian Hood!" Calum angrily shouted. "Give it back to her this instance!" Calum did the dad voice which scared the other kids.

"I just wanted to see the penguin!" Cameron defended but still did not return the penguin to Brooklyn.

"Give it back!" Calum commanded. Cameron walked slowly towards Brooklyn and handed the penguin to her.

"Thank you." Brooklyn sarcastically said and gave her penguin a hug.

"You shouldn't do that, Cameron. That's bad." Calum explained to his son. "And if uncle Luke finds out you make his daughter cry, he will hit me."

"Sorry, I just wanted to see it." Cameron said again.

"So, when can I see daddy again?" Amanda changed the topic to lighten the atmosphere up.

"Hmmmm..." Calum thought of an answer. He checked the time on his watch, "Do kids want to go out? Your daddies must be done with work by now." He asked.

"YESS! YES! YES!" They all cheered and jumped around.

"Alright, let me check first and then I'll be back here. Okay?" Calum told the overly-excited kids inside the room. The kids all nodded and watched as their uncle Cal walked out the door. When Calum went back inside, the kids got their eyes all on him and waited for the answer. "Everyone go out to see your dads!" Calum announced.

The kids ran through the office to find their dads. The whole crew was disturbed yet found it adorable as little versions of the band roam around. "Daddy!" Amanda shouted once she saw Ashton.

She ran to him and Ashton caught her and gave a massive bear hug. "Hey, little boo!" He exclaimed and showered her with tickling stomach kisses.
