Luke sighed and sat down the floor next to Alex and Cameron. "So what do you want to do?" He asked the kids.
"There's nothing to do in here." Alex replied and looked around the room which has tables, chairs, office stuff, old band pictures, and CDs.
"C'mon, mate. I'm sure there's something." Luke insisted. He looked over the girls who seemed to be tired of their ponies.
Amanda put down her book as she finished the last page, "Tell us a story, uncle Luke." She requested and got down from the big arm chair.
"What story? Uh, fairytale? Sci-fi? Horror?" Luke continued to enumerate story themes.
"Band stories." Allison said. Every kid in the room nodded their heads, excited to hear stories about their dads.
"Okay, uncle Luke will tell you a story." Luke declared. "Let's gather in one circle and pretend that we're around a bonfire!" He suggested.
"We need tents because bonfires are in campings, right?" Cameron asked his uncle before getting into a circle.
Every kid got their blankies and luke pinned them into a roof-like way. "Ready?" Luke asked as he finished fixing the last blanket.
The kids sat in a circle and Luke squeezed in between Brooklyn and Amanda. Brooklyn, being a huge daddy's girl, went and sat in between Luke's extremely long legs and Luke cuddled he in return. "Start from the very start!" Allison exclaimed.
Luke laughed, recalling how many times the band had told this story in their interviews back when they were still rising to fame. "We all went to school together, except for Ashton. Calum, Mikey, and I started singing and posting covers on YouTube until we needed a drummer and that's when we found Ashton." Luke explained.
"That's so boring." Alex whispered to his twin and Allison agreed. "Is that it, uncle Luke?" He asked.
Luke knew it bored them because he was bored by story every time they had to tell it over and over again. "That's it." He nods. Luke thought of something significant that happened to the band, something interesting for the kids around him. "One time we were in America," Luke started and the kids drew their attention to Luke. "We were playing a song called Amnesia and then your uncle Calum fell down the stage." Luke laughed as he remembered that time when they were totally living their dream.
The children bursted into their cute laughter, especially Cameron. "I wanna see dad falling!" He blurted out and laughed even harder.
"Ooh, your dad fell hard and deep for your mum, Hood Jr." Luke whispered and laughed to himself.
"What, daddy?" Brooklyn asked, who must've heard what her dad said.
"Oh, nothing sweetheart." Luke guiltily smiled and kissed his daughter's head. Luke went on and on with his stories of the boys being in different countries as the kids faithfully listen and laugh to their uncle's stories.
"I want to go to Disneyland." Amanda announced, the kids agreed and all talked at the same time about what they heard about Disneyland.
"Maybe all of us can go there all together and have lots of fun meeting Mickey Mouse." Luke happily said, imagining the whole family of 5SOS daddies sauntering the streets of Disneyland.
"I want to go there too." Brooklyn timidly said. Unlike the other kids, Brooklyn was the quiet one. She never talks unless you speak to her but she will occasionally smile at you when you're in the same room. She's very much like Luke, shy at first but crazy when you get to know her more.
"We'll go there soon, sweetheart." Luke whispered to his daughter's ear and pinched her chubby cheeks.
