Calum:
It was already late at night when you got home. The lights were usually out by this time but one light in the kitchen was still up. You walked to where it is and found Calum sitting in front of the kitchen counter with a cup of coffee before him. "Hey," You greeted and placed your bags on the loving room. He walked lazily towards you and gave you a hug. "What's the matter?" You asked. It was obvious that he has something bothering him. "I messed up." He mumbled. "With what?" You asked and joined him in the kitchen. "Am I a bad father?" He said and kept his head down. "What are you talking about!? You're amazing. You give your all for our family and. . ." You started talking but he cut you off. "Sofia's right, I'll never be her dad." Calum said and tears formed in his eyes. You were shocked by what came out of his mouth, you couldn't believe that Sofia would say that. She was a very sweet and nice girl. "Calum. . ." You said and hugged him. He hugged you back tightly, "I do everything I can for our family but it's not enough." Calum told you. "I'm gonna talk to her about this but please, don't ever EVER think or say that you're a bad father because you are not." You said and gave him a kiss before running to Sofia's bedroom.
Luke:
You gave a Luke an awkwardly long hug from behind, just like you both used to. "I missed you." You told him and rested your head on his back. "I'm not in the best mood right now, (Y/N)." He said. "Why, what's the matter?" You asked and pulled out the hug. "Do you- uhm, am I a bad father?" Luke asked you. "What? You gave our family your very best and did everything you can. You aren't at home most of the time but you didn't fail to do your part." You said and gave him a comforting smile. "But Lucas, he said I didn't. Maybe he's right. You raised then up all by yourself while I was half way across the globe." He said and looked down to his feet. "Hey, listen." You said and kept his head up. "I couldn't have done it without you. You're an important part of this family. We love you so so much." You told him and gave him a hug. "I'm gonna talk to Lucas." You said and went to your son's room.
((advance apology for Ashton's. if you're having like, dad issues and feel uncomfortable pr something, pls don't read))
Ashton:
During dinner, there was obvious tension between Ashton and Aiden but you didn't bother to ask. Maybe both of them had a bad day, and besides, your girls were busy talking about school and other stuff. When you and Ashton were the only ones left in the kitchen, you started to break the silence. Ashton didn't say a single word since you got home. "Alright, Mr. Irwin. What's the catch?" You asked him while he does the dishes and you clean the table. "I was just. . . thinking." He replied. "Hm, okay." You said hesitantly and continued with your work. Moments later, Ashton spoke up. "I tried my best to be the dad I never had." He told you and he seriously started crying. You went towards him and hugged him to make him stop. "When you told me you were pregnant with Mandy, I told myself that I'll be the best I can for my kids and I will never leave them." He sniffed. "Ash, ash, calm down. What's going on?" You asked him. "I'm the worst parent. Am I a bad father? I think I really am." He said. You just looked at his eyes, he was really hurt by his thoughts and you wished you could alter his thinking but you just let him talk and let his emotions out. "You are a wonderful person. You gave me equally wonderful kids. You guys don't deserve me. This family can go on without me." He said, all that time you shook your head, denying the things he's saying. "I'm not making you happy anymore." He told you. This time, you were almost in tears. "No, Ash. You are important. We love you to pieces and you're wrong, we can't go on without you. We need you." You told him and wiped his tears. "I think it's best if we just file a divorce. You guys don't deserve an awful person like me." He said and stormed out of the house. Your world started to fall apart when he said he wanted a divorce. You cried silently, afraid to let your kids know. You tried to follow Ash but he was gone in an instant.
Michael:
"Good morning." You greeted your husband once you opened your eyes. "Yeah." He mumbled. After doing your morning routines, you noticed Michael still flopping around the bedroom. "You know you should get up now, you have a meeting with the management today." You reminded him but he still seemed to be uninterested. "Michael. . ." You started but he cut you off with a question. "Am I a bad father?" He asked you. "Is that why you've been quiet?" You asked him. "Yeah." He nodded. "The answer is no. You're great. At first I kind of doubted you but as our kids grow up, you show me how loving you are and how well you deal with them." You answered his question. "But you know what Allie thinks? She thinks that I'm the worst dad. And I personally think it's true." He told you, he sounded so hurt. "I'm hardly home, I spend more time banding than being a dad. I'm almost not part of our family." Michael added. You looked him straight to the eye and said, "You're part of our family and this family will never be complete without you. Don't ever doubt yourself about being a good dad because you really are a good dad." and pulled him in for a hug.
