i found this draft that i've written a long time ago))

This was basically the family you've always wanted. You and your husband, Ashton, had the most perfect kids a parent could ask for. Troy, who's 18, Liam, who's 16, and your only girl Claire, who's 15. They would occasionally get into small fights and arguments but the three of them always end up having each other's backs.

"Sister dear!" Liam exclaimed and barged in into Claire's room. "Get your cutesy bum out of the bed." He said and tickled his sister on her waist.

Claire groaned and shooed him away. She buried her face in her pillows. "Go away, Li." She mumbled.

"It is very disrespectful for you to make your very amazing big brother go away." Liam conceitedly said. "No but seriously, though. Get up and go to our room. Movie time." He goes and tapped Claire's shoulders. Liam felt and saw his sister's shoulders shaking, like she was crying. "Are you, are you crying?" He asked and sat on the bed.

"Liam," She sobbed and hug her brother's waist. Liam's eyes grew but he knew he had to comfort his little sister. He soothed her hair hugged her back.

"Why are you crying?" He calmly asked but Claire didn't answer, she just continued to cry. "Troy!" He shouted.

Not even a minute passed and Troy was already in Claire's doorstep. "Anything wrong?" He asked. Liam pointed at Claire, who was still hugging his waist. Troy quietly walked towards the two and joined them. "Hey, sis." He goes.

"Now that we're all here, why don't you tell us what's going on so we can help you." Liam told Claire and continued to comfort her.

"Dex- Dexter. H-he cheated on m-me." Claire sniffed and continued to cry.

Troy began to get furious. He got his fist clenched, eyebrows curled, and he's bitting his lower lip. "I knew that douchebag would hurt you." He whispered under his breath.

"You're crying over that Dexter's Laboratory guy? Psh. What a weenie he is." Liam scoffed and attempted to make his sister feel a little bit better.

"It's not funny, Liam." Claire sniffed and sat straight and wiped her puffy eyes.

"How long was he cheating in you?" Troy asked.

"I don't know. I found out a while ago." Claire dully answered. She knew it was okay for her brothers to know. They've always helped her with anything and everything ever since.

"I assume you're not over with him." Liam told Claire. "But you better be! That guy doesn't deserve you, your time, and especially your tears." He continued. Liam is the less-serious brother and Troy is the annoying one who takes everything seriously. But they're both so protective of Claire.

"Dinner!" You shouted for the kids to hear from their bedrooms.

"C'mon, wipe your tears." Troy helped her and handed her some tissues.

"Guys," Ashton went a little near the room to reiterate what you just said.

"We'll be down in a minute." Liam informed Ashton before he gets to see what's happening inside.

You and Ashton were already waiting in front of the table when the kids went down altogether. "Sorry for waiting." Troy apologized as he takes his seat.

"No worries." You smiled at him.

"So," Ashton started. He looked at you and you knew what he's up to. "Why is Claire crying?" He asked the three of them. He knows what happened.

Liam widened his eyes in shock, Troy almost chocked his food, while Claire tightened her hold on her utensils. "I wasn't crying." Claire denied. "Liam was tickling me and got me laughing 'till I got teary-eyed." She explained and fake smiled.

Troy wanted to do a face palm for the lamest excuse his sister made. Liam nodded along, "Yeah, it was time for tickle wars." Liam nervously laughed. Tickle Wars was a thing in your family ever since your kids were toddlers. Ashton as Darth Ticklish, Troy was Han Tickling Solo, Liam was Luke Skytickler, and Claire was just plain Princess Leia because she didn't want any of those silly nicknames.

"Okay, I'm going to choose to believe that." Ashton told them, even if you both knew something was up. You just went with completely trusting your boys to help their sister in whatever she's going thru.

"But, you know, you guys can always talk to us whenever you want, about whatever." You add, making your daughter smile.

After dinner, the three of them were in the boys' room, watching movies. "Thanks for always backing me up." Claire thanked her brothers.

"Of course, Claire." Liam told her. "Although that excuse was really lame, like our brother over here." He turned and pointed at Troy.

Troy rolled his eyes, "You know we always got your back," He said. "As long as you keep on treating us ice cream for movie night." He laughed.

"Shut up, you guys always get me broke because of all the food you ask me to buy." Claire scoffed. "And I can't believe I'm so stupid to keep on buying food for you giants."
