I got up at around 10 o'clock in the morning. I looked over the right side of the bed, it felt cold and empty like it always did. That side of the bed pretty much resembles my life now, cold and empty. I got my phone from the bedside table and checked it. It was the usual, but this time the mail icon has a notification-which was unusual since no one sent me e-mails since the dawn of time.
To my surprise, it was from a girl who had the same surname as mine. My heart heavily pounded as I read the content. Shit. She introduced herself as my daughter. Could she be (Y/N)'s? Is this what I've waited for 16 years?
I instantly replied,
Hello, Allison! God, I love you and your brother so so much, much more than my life. I'm so glad that you want to meet up with me. I could finally see my wonderful kids. If it's fine with you I'll go meet you at the Hyde Park whenever you want. I'll be waiting.
God knows how much I've waited for this moment but somehow I'm awfully scared. I can't blame them if they're mad at me and blame me for everything. I knew I deserved it. I knew I had to face the consequences. I had to stay away from them for 16 years and not ruin their lives like I did to their mum.
