V4:Chapter 7-Final trek

You and the group have been continuing your trek. The area has long since changed from a lively forest to a dead grassland with dead trees. Despite this, there was still a path. Qrow had began mumbling again on his makeshift carrier, who was being carried by Ruby and Jaune. Qrow entered a coughing fit and then quieted down... for now.

Jaune: "He's getting worse."

Ruby: "How much farther?"

Nora: "We've gotta be close!"

Ren: "Without the map, there's no way of knowing."

You double checked your pockets and discovered, somehow, you lost your map. You don't know if it was in the inn, the Tyrian fight or the recent campout but you lost it. And Jaune has no more spares.

Ren: "But I feel like we're close to something."

Up ahead, you saw a sign and diverging paths. Ren ran for it to get a closer look. Nora followed suit.

Nora: "Hey, hey! Mistral! We're on the right track!"

Nora looks at the sign again.

Nora: "Oh..."

Ruby: "Does it say how close we are?"

Ren: "No, and it looks like the path takes us up through the mountains."

Jaune: "Guys... I don't think all of us can make that climb."

Jaune was indirectly talking about Qrow.

Ruby: "Ok, well..."

Ruby ran up to the sign to get a closer look of the other villages available.

Ruby: "What about this place? Kuro... Kuroyuri! Can we get help there?"

Ren: "That village was destroyed years ago."

Jaune: "But if it takes us around the mountains, it's the best bet we got."

Ren: "It will take too long."

Ruby: "The town would've had a doctor, right? Maybe we could scavenge for medicine!"

Jaune: "Right!"

Ren: "We're not going to find anything! We just have to press on!"

Y/N(G): "Woah there. Why don't you cool it, tough guy?"

Jaune: "Ren... why are you acting-"

Nora: "We can split up."

Ruby: "Huh?!"

Nora: "Ren and I can cut through the mountains while you and Ruby take Qrow around through the village."

Jaune: "No. We're supposed to stick together. We keep each other safe!"

Nora: "We don't have time for safe! Listen, Grazama's team can split up with us so we can all at least be in a group of four. If we make it to Mistral, we can bring back help! If we don't, we'll at least have a better view of the land! Up there, we can see if there's somewhere else we can go!"

Nora puts her hand in Ren's back. And then Qrow's coughing cuts through the silence.

Jaune: "Okay."

Y/N(G): "Uhm, I know this is some real emotional stuff, but Noel has to stick with me."

Tsubaki: "And why's that?"

Y/N(G): "Well... I mean, she's Noel."

Jin: "Yeah... That seems fair enough."

Nora: "Ok. Then Jin and Tsubaki, you're with us. Grazama and Noel, go with Ruby and Jaune."
