Everyone sat around the table, well two tables since there was a few of you. Everyone chatted, laughed, and ate. You, personally, couldn't care less about this whole ordeal. You just wanted to know how Weiss got here from Atlas. Eventually, Yang got up, grabbing your attention. She showed off her new arm and almost everyone gasped in awe.
Yang: "It couldn't be a replacement for the real thing, but I'll be sure to make good use of it."
Jaune: "That's amazing."
Ren: "Incredible."
You blurred everything out, as a flashback from a certain time came to you.. you saw five other figures, there was laughter and talking. Someone was moving up to you...
Nora: "Wanna bet!?!"
You were pulled out of that... memory? And was interrupted onto watching Nora and Yang arm wrestle, everyone picking a side and cheering one or the other on. All of a sudden, Yang's arm was expunged and Nora was knocked back into the wall.
Nora: "*Groaning*"
Jaune: "Did she... win?"
Nora looked at the dismembered arm she was holding and screamed, throwing it at the table. Yang caught it and started laughing.
*Timeskip*
Jaune: "Ugh, we ate it all..."
Jaune picked up the remaining pots.
Jaune: "I think I'm gonna be sick..."
Yang: "Easy there, vomit boy. I believe in you."
Jaune: "Oh so we're doing nickname throwbacks, great..."
Jaune carried the pots to the kitchen. However, Yang saying that did trigger some bicker between RWBY and JNR. However, after everyone settled down, Ren spoke up.
Ren: "It's been a long time. And we've all grown in our own ways."
Ruby: "You really think so?"
Ren: "Well, think back to when we were all at Beacon, or Atlas."
He gestured to your group.
Ren: "Would you say you did anything that was foolish or embarrassing? Or do you believe you were perfect?"
Weiss: "Oh gosh."
She put her face in her hands.
Yang: "I may have been a little too gung-ho from time to time."
Ruby: "Hee, you? I tried to one v one a nevermore on the second day of school."
Jaune: "Yeah, well..."
Jaune showed up, leaning on the wall.
Jaune: "Don't even get me started..."
Ren: "Well, that embarrassment. That desire to go back and tell yourself not to be so stupid. That just proves you're not the same person you used to be. You're smarter, or kinder, or stronger. And you're not done growing yet. None of us are."
Ruby: "Yeah, well, turns out Ren like to be deep when he feels like talking."
People chuckle at the table.
Nora: "Well, I thought I was pretty great at school!"
Yang: "Really? Even during the dance when you spilled punch all over yourself in front of-"
Nora: "YES, ESPECIALLY THE DANCE, THANK YOU YANG!"
The table laughs at Nora's reaction.
Qrow: "I knew there being ten kids, it would be loud, but man you guys are ridiculous!"
