V2:E8-Field trip prep

Lata: "Guys! Today's the big day! Our first real mission as huntsman and huntresses!"

Rog: "I'm pretty excited."

Luma: "Although this is our first mission, we should keep in mind about the opportunity we have to find out what's in the southeast."

Speaking of the southeast, you had found out the coordinates lead to somewhere that your team is aiming for, Mountain Glenn. The place where your team had found out where the white fang were operating.

Lata: "What about you Terumi? Aren't you excited?"

Y/N: "Totally."

Luma: "You don't sound excited."

Lata: "Oh! I got everyone gifts!"

Rog: "What's the occasion?"

Lata: "Just felt like it."

Lata pulled out a bag and reached her hand inside it and pulled out a fireball plushie, snake plushie and an axe plushie.

Lata: "Here you guys go!"

She handed out the plushies to each of us, the respective plushie to the person.

You eyed yours when it was given to you, as it was a small plush of a snake that seemed to exiting its egg

Luma: "Um... Thank you, did you make these yourself?"

Lata: "YES! It took me awhile but I got the hang of it! I even made myself one, look!"

She pulled out a plush that looked a lot like herself. Then started waving it around.

Lata: "IT'S A MINI ME! Isn't it ADORABLE!"

Luma: "Hahaha..."

Intercom: "Will all first year students please report to the amphitheatre."

Rog: "Looks like our que to leave. Let's go."

*Amphitheatre*

As you all walked in, you saw team JNPR and decided to stand with them. As you all got closer, you noticed team RWBY enter as well and join you guys.

Goodwitch: "Quiet. Quiet please."

Everyone quieted down.

Goodwitch: "Professor Ozpin would like to share a few words before we begin."

Ozpin: "Today we stand together, united. Mistral, Atlas, Vacuo, Vale. The four kingdoms of Remnant. On this day, nearly 80 years ago, the largest war in recorded history came to an end. It was a war of ignorance. Of greed. And oppression. A war that was much more than where borders fell and who traded with who. But of the very idea of individualism itself. We fought for countless reasons. One of them being the destruction of all forms of art and self expression. And as you are all aware, that was something many could not stand for. As a result, many started to rebel this tyranny by naming their children one of the core aspects of art itself. Color. It was their way of saying that not only would they not accept this repression, but neither the generations to come.  And it is a trend that is held to this very day. We encourage individuality, expressionism, and unity. Through diversity. As I have said, today we stand together, united. But this bond cannot exist without effort. Which is why today, while the rest of the world celebrates peace, huntman and huntresses will work to uphold it. As first year students, you will be tasked with shadowing a professional huntsman or huntress on a mission. Some will be taken out of the kingdom for several days while other will work in the walls for the rest of the week. But no matter what path you choose, remember to be safe, remember your training, and do your very best."

*Applause*

As everyone split up, your team grouped up.

Lata: "I know! A mission in the south east!"

Luma: "That... Was our plan."

Lata: "Oh... Yeah, you're right. I totally didn't forget or anything, hahaha..."

Rog: "Ahem. We should look at quadrant 4-6."

As your team moved to the holoboard that contained missions, the only mission in the southeast, where you want to go, is already taken by team RWBY. Which you literally just walked by.

Lata: "Great..."

Luma: "W-wait, quadrant 6 needs help and that village is pretty close to where we need to go."

Rog: "Good idea, we'll stick around at day and disappear at night."

Lata: "Yeah!"

Entering the your team name into board, the holoboard said that 1st years cannot take this and that a second team is needed for this mission.

Lata: "Ohhhh..."

Ozpin: "You guys seem dead set on obtaining this mission..."

Luma: "Oh! Hello professor Ozpin."

Ozpin: "Makes me wonder what you guys want to do there..."

Lata: "hahaha... I guess we feel like fate wants us to do this mission..."

Ozpin: "But, I suppose a little more bending wouldn't hurt... Although, I'm gonna need you guys to find another team for this mission. If you can do that, then I can... Assign this mission to you."

You already knew exactly whose team you were gonna get.
