V4:Chapter 5-Proper audience

The man pulls his tail back.

???: "Huh! As I live and breathe! Qrow Branwen! *Giggle*, A true huntsman has entered the fray."

The man bows as he finishes his sentence. Qrow looks back to Ruby for an answer to the man's behavior.

Ruby: "I don't know. This guy's weird."

Qrow: "Look pal, I don't know who you are, but you need to leave my niece alone."

???: "Why, friend, my name is Tyrian. And I'm afraid that is not possible. My assignment from her grace was to retrieve this young girl. So, that is what I must do. One does not upset the queen."

Ruby: "Queen?"

Qrow: "Salem..."

That name sounds familiar but you can't put your finger on it. Then again, you have been getting this feeling a lot recently.

Y/N(G): "This is your proper audience...?"

Tyrian: "Why, yes. I would like to have at least one official huntsman to tell the tale... If he lives, of course."

Ruby: "Who is Salem...?"

Qrow: "I'll explain later."

Tyrian: "Hmm, I think we've had enough talk now, don't you?"

Qrow: "You took the words right out of-"

Tyrian charges forward and immediately clashes with Qrow's sword twice, then jumps up and try's to land a jump kick on him but Qrow dodges. They run towards each other and when their blades clash, the force sent both of them back. During Tyrian's recovery, Qrow tries to slash at but he dodges that and the follow up attack. Now, they were jumping around and the sound of clashes filled your ears. Then Qrow jumps up and does a spinning strike, which Tyrian blocks but the force causes a nearby roof from a building to fall. For a moment they were attempting to push one another back while they pushed on their blades but Tyrian activates the guns on his claws and Qrow jumps back. Then Tyrian runs around Qrow and tries to shoot him but Qrow blocks all the shots using his sword. However, Ren and Nora attempt to assist but when they teach Tyrian, he spin kicks both of them and kicks both of them away. He tries to go after them again but Qrow blocks his path and clashes with him.

Qrow: "Don't come closer!"

Ruby: "... Fine!"

Ruby runs up to a nearby building and launches herself up on its roof. She seemed to try to take a shot but Tyrian and Qrow were moving too much in their fight and she was unable to take a shot. During their fight, Tyrian began using his tail and when he tries to stab at Qrow, he dodges but Tyrian pulls his tail back and uses it to grab his arm and make his weapon go flying into a building. During that moment, Ruby took a shot but missed. However she continued shooting and Tyrian used his tail to block all the shots. Qrow took this opportunity, while Tyrian was distracted, and punched him in the face, following with a left hook and an uppercut, and then kicks him away. Qrow walked to his weapon while Tyrian seemed half disoriented, however, as soon as Qrow grabbed his weapon, Tyrian headed straight for him. Qrow dodges by stepping up on his weapon and then activates it to launch himself up. When he was launched up, he hold balance on a long piece of wood. Tyrian hits the wood and breaks it but Qrow land and Tyrian comes back down and clashes with Qrow on the wood. After some more clashing, Qrow runs to the other edge of the roof and Tyrian front flips towards him but hits a faulty piece of wood and goes into the building. Qrow attempted to jump up but Tyrian grabs his leg with his tail and pulls him in too. The building collapsed and Ruby runs to the building. Qrow is hit out and recovers by throwing his sword and landing on it. Qrow's red aura flashes and when Tyrian jumps out the smoke, his purple aura flashes as well. Right when the two were about to clash again, Ruby hits and clashes with Tyrian instead.

Jaune: "Ruby!"

Tyrian: "Do you wish to be taken?!"

Ruby: "No! But I won't stand by and watch someone get hurt!"

Ruby and Qrow both attach Tyrian together however when they clash, Tyrian kicks Qrow away and Ruby clashes with him a few times but was unable to keep up and was almost hit by his tail if Qrow didn't jump in and block it for her.

Qrow: "Ruby! What did I say?! Get back!"

Ruby: "This is my fight too!"

Ruby runs behind Tyrian and attempts to hit him but he easily dodges and changes targets to her.

Qrow: "No, it not that, it's-"

Ruby: "Gaah!"

Ruby charges for Tyrian but she is double kicked back. However, a piece of wood almost falls on her but Qrow jumps in and cuts it, saving her. They looked at one another but in that small moment, Tyrian grazes Qrow with his tail and Qrow yells in pain. Tyrian snickers but Ruby puts her scythe down, with the blade against the tail and shoots it, causing it to launch back and slice off a piece of Tyrian's tail.

Tyrian: "*Screams in pain*"

Tyrian crawls away and stands up.

Tyrian: "You bitch! *More screaming*"

As he seemed to get ready to attack her, Jin, Tsubaki, Ren, Jaune, and Nora all stand in front of him.

Tyrian: "She'll forgive you..."

Tyrian turns tail and takes flight, running away. As soon as he does, Qrow fall down in pain.

Ruby: "Uncle Qrow! Are you ok!?"

Qrow pants heavily.

Y/N(G): "Well. That bravery sure did seem to help a lot."

Ignoring your sarcastic comment, Qrow says:
"I'll be fine. He just grazed me."

Everyone rushes to him.

Nora: "Who was that guy?"

Ren: "How did you get here?"

Jin: "Have you been following us?"

Jaune: "Why are people after Ruby?"

Ruby : "Uncle Qrow... What's going on?"

Qrow, admist his deep breathes: "What's your favorite fairytale?"
