V7:Chapter 3-Welcome to the Atlas Military

You enter Relius' office and sit on the chair across from him. He immediately puts down a scroll for you.

Relius: "Terumi."

Y/N(G): "Oh, what a warm welcome, Relius. Is this for me? You shouldn't have."

Relius: "Yes. A new updated Atlas scroll. You are free to use it however you wish, since it's connected to the Atlas network, it will run better."

Y/N(G): "How kind. I am keeping my old one however."

Relius: "Understandable. Please, let me know of any information that would be of help to my project."

Y/N(G): "I may have something, however, you gotta tell me stuff too. It isn't fair if you were to leave me in the dark, would it?"

Relius: "Hmmph. Well..."

*Small Time skip*

It wouldn't be Atlas if they didn't immediately test somebody's skill after surviving around Remnant. Fortunately for you, a break from the usual nonsense from the teams was in order. Or was supposed to. Your assignment was different, or in the General's words, "different mission, same difficulty." He decided to remedy the fact that you were going alone and have assigned with you, team FNKI.

Y/N(G): "Great..."

You were actually hoping to be alone but rarely do things go according to plan. Anyways, you were supposed to meet up with FNKI at the entrance cave of a mountain and search for the huge Centinel, and eliminate the little insect grimm. Well, little is the wrong word. It's unknown how, but this one has grown to a massive size, compared to the average centinel and is continuing to do so. Obviously, this is a high priority target since the world doesn't need an actual world eater. Not only has this thing created a massive cave system on it's own but it also isn't alone, with tons of other centinel's accompanying the larger one.

The ship landing pulls you out of your thoughts and makes you step forward, onto the tundra. You see FNKI already there and Neon immediately takes notice and skates to you.

Neon: "There you are! We thought you were never gonna show up!"

You pull back your sleeve and take a look at the watch on Grazama's wrist.

Y/N(G): "I'm ten minutes early."

Neon: "Well, we were twenty minutes early! Making you ten minutes late!"

Y/N(G): "Not how things work but whatever. How are we doing this?"

You walk up to the rest of her team as she circles around you repeatedly.

Flynt: "Ah, there you are. I'm glad we didn't have to wait another ten minutes."

Y/N(G): "I'm glad I didn't have to wait at all. So how are we doing this?"

Flynt: "Originally I was thinking of all of us sticking together but-"

Neon: "You guys are soooo slow sometimes!"

Flynt: "Yeah. That. Neon's gonna go off on her own regardless so I figured we could just split off on our own to cover as much ground as possible and stay in touch via scrolls. You dig?"

Y/N(G): "An excellent plan. I have no quarrels with your idea."

Flynt nods and you all enter the cave.

It wasn't long until the path split. The path split into three caves.

Flynt: "Well."

Y/N(G): "I am more than comfortable to go on my own, so you may go in duos."
