*POV Change*
Luma Quarte:
It's been a bit after our investigation, and my team... May still have a little bit of tension to each other. But I can deal with that in a few minutes, because we are in combat class, and we are watching Pyrrha fight team CRDL. She fought with a look of professionalism, and was doing a great job at fighting the team by herself.
(Gonna be honest, was too lazy to put the whole fight with description into text, so here's a video instead.)
Goodwitch: "And that's the match."
Cardin: "Lucky shot..."
Cardin fell over
Goodwitch: "Well done, Ms.Nikos. You should have no problem qualifying for the tournament.;
Pyrrha: "Thank you professor."
Goodwitch: "Alright. Now, I know that's a tough act to follow but we have time for one more sparring match. Any volunteers?"
She looked around for any hands.
Goodwitch: "Ms.Belladonna. You've been rather docile for the past few classes. Why don't you-"
???: "I'll do it."
A gray haired guy interrupted her and raised his hand.
Goodwitch: "Mercury, is it?"
She said that while adjusting her glasses.
Goodwitch: "Very well. Let's find you an opponent."
Mercury: "Actually, I wanna fight..."
He looked around a bit
Mercury: "Her."
He pointed at Pyrrha.
Pyrrha: "Me?"
Goodwitch: "I'm afraid Ms.Nikos has already just finished a match. I recommend you choose another partner."
Pyrrha: "No! It's fine."
She turned to Mercury
Pyrrha: "I'll be happy to oblige."
After getting down, Mercury got ready to fight. They stared at each other for a moment and both charged, Mercury leading with a kick but Pyrrha blocked it with her shield and tripped him with her sword but Mercury got up quickly and backed off by backflipping.
They stared again but Pyrrha charged and blocked a kick with her sword and another with her shield then blocked repeated kicks from one side with her shield, retaliated with her sword, forcing Mercury to stop and block the hit then shield bashed him back.
They stared at one another again for a moment and Mercury charged first with a jump kick but Pyrrha blocked it, but he followed with a sweep and Pyrrha avoided and went for another jump kick but Pyrrha rolled away.
Mercury charged and Pyrrha got in a defensive position, Mercury kicked her shield, forcing her to block with the sword but that was kicked up too, he went for a kick to her head but it was blocked by her arm. She got her sword back but was back on the defensive but Mercury found a hole in her defense and managed to kick away her sword.
He went for a head kick but it looked like it barely missed, forcing him to take a moment to recover and giving Pyrrha time to get her sword back and charge at him. He saw her, jumped on her shield and shot with his... Gun shoes? Yeah, that. And managed to back away. She was charging at him again.
Mercury: "I forfeit."
Pyrrha gasped and stopped running, instead going past him.
Pyrrha: "You... Don't even want to try?"
Mercury: "What's the point? You're a world renowned fighter. We're obviously leagues apart."
Goodwitch: "In that case, Pyrrha Nikos is the victor of the match... Again."
She typed on her tablet for a moment.
Goodwitch: "Next time, you might want to think a little harder before choosing an opponent."
Mercury: "I'll be sure to do that."
*Class alarm*
Goodwitch: "That is all for today. And remember the dance is this weekend. But you all have your first mission on monday. I will not accept any excuses."
*small timeskip* *Dorm*
Lata: "Soooo... What's our plan for the dance?!"
Luma: "I think we could do what everyone else is doing..."
Lata: "Which is...?"
Luma: "Um... Dance...?"
Terumi: "Cool. I'm not going."
Lata & Luma: "What?!"
Luma: "Why?!"
Terumi: "Wasting my time for no reason is really not my style."
