V6:Chapter 4-The Estate

Qrow kicked open a door to the large house and everyone entered, weapons out. The place was cold and dark. Abandoned, like everything else.

Maria: "Close the door already! It's cold enough in here as it is."

Maria suddenly exclaimed and walked in casually. Blake and Oscar block the door with a desk and everyone began searching the house, in partners. You had Mu with you and was looking around until you heard a terrified shriek from upstairs. Everyone rushes to the second floor to see what's going on. When you reached, you saw the grotesque sight of two bodies in bed. It looked like their very life force was sapped from them.

*Timeskip*

Someone had successfully gotten the fire started and currently almost everyone was around it. Except Qrow, who went looking at the other houses to see if their are similar situations. You stared at the crackling fire until you heard Qrow enter the house and he walked in, brushing snow off himself.

Qrow: "It's the same in every house."

Blake: "What?"

Qrow: "Bodies. Every bed in every home. It's like the whole estate just went to sleep and never woke up."

He headed in front of the fire to warn himself up.

Weiss: "Then we're not staying here, right?"

Qrow: "We don't have a choice. Storm outside's only getting worse. We'd freeze to death before we made it anywhere."

There was a moment of silence as everyone realized that they would have to stay at this cursed home.

Maria: "Well. Might as well get comfortable."

Yang: "Yeah, fat chance."

Ruby: "Ok, then. Let's do something. If this place wasn't abandoned, it might still have supplies we could use."

Oscar: "Hey, yeah. Maybe even a car."

Qrow: "I'll do another sweep of the grounds."

Qrow got up and began to leave.

Qrow: "No one else goes anywhere alone."

Blake: "Yang and I can search the other buildings for vehicles."

Yang: "Fine. Whatever gets me out of this house."

The two walk off.

Tsubaki: "Me and Grazama will also search."

Y/N(G): "Eh? Sure..."

You two also walk outside. You walked against the howling blizzard into a random, smaller house. As you two enter and shut the door, Tsubaki was quick to speak up.

Tsubaki: "So, you heard, right?"

Y/N(G): "Heard what? There was a lot to be heard."

Tsubaki: "What Jinn said."

Y/N(G): "About Ozpin?"

Tsubaki: "Well, yes but also who can use magic in this world."

Y/N(G): "I don't seem to recall..."

Tsubaki: "She said the six heroes! They do exist! That means they either are being hidden or are in hiding! They could give us an upper hand on Salem! If the legend is correct then they also defeated the largest grimm that the first mankind has ever seen!"

Y/N(G): "It appears so... more importantly, how do you intend to find them?"

Tsubaki: "I... don't know. But there has to be a way! We can bring them out and together we will bring the divine justice this world needs."
