V1:E14-Forever fall 2

Cardin: "... I'm gonna make sure they send you back to mommy in teeny tiny pieces."

Yeah. You were watching this whole scene unfold before you. You were pretty sure that the glass sound came from someone, so you followed where you thought you heard it. Lo and behold, it led you to vomit boy and the dipshit gang.

Jaune: "I don't care what you do to me... But you are not messing with my team."

Cardin: "What? You think talk like that makes you tough? You think you're a big strong man now?"

You watched as Jaune seemingly snorted. You gotta give credit where it's due though and admit that you only the slightest bit impressed that he stood up Cardin and snuck his way to Beacon. He's got more balls than you thought. Then Cardin got angry and punched his face. But this caused a bright light to happen.

When the light was gone, Cardin was holding his hand in pain and Jaune looked completely healed from his beating. Then one of the goons kicked him to the ground.

Cardin: "Let's see how much of a man you really are."

*Loud growl*

A larger than average ursa appeared and seemed to smell the air, then focus his attention on Cardin.

Cardin goon: "That's a big ursa!"

With that the three goons ran away. Cardin was slapped by the ursa. It was right in front of Jaune but turned its attention back to Cardin. Cardin pulled out his mace but the ursa slapped it away. The ursa made another loud growl. You watched as the ursa beat up Cardin, giving him the beating that was overdue. You're assuming that the red stain on his chest is the sap, which is what grimm like.

Cardin was making a run for it. But the ursa jumped over, in front of him, then slashed at Cardin, forcing him to the ground.

Cardin was crawling away but turned around to see himself about to receive another blow from the ursa but Jaune came in and blocked the hit. Jaune started retaliating and then started dodging swipes from the ursa but was slapped away, mid air dodge.

Jaune got up, and charged again and was pushed away once more. He checked his scroll for a moment and went for another slice.

Jaune's reckless charge was suddenly changed into a deflect, he deflected the attack from the ursa and did a heavy swing at it's head, quickly chopping its head off, killing it.

After that, the bruised Jaune walked up to Cardin and gave him a hand up.

Cardin: "Holy crap, Jaune-"

Jaune: "Don't ever mess with my team- my friends, ever again... Got it?"

They stared at each other for a moment and Jaune walked off.

*Dorm* *Night*

Lata: "... I mean it. That. Was. Awesome! Just the way he chopped off it's head!"

Luma: "Lata, are you sure we should be talking about this? I-I mean we're supposed to keep this a secret and they're right there-"

Y/N: "I saw Jaune kill the ursa."

Luma & Lata: "You did?!(Lata)/Y-You did...?(Luma)"

Rog: "Wait, Jaune did what?"

Y/N: "Jaune actually did something."

Rog: "Yo? What? What'd Jaune do?"

Luma: "Ah... I-It's nothing..."

Rog: "But Lata seemed to be making a big deal about it and-"

Lata: "Well, It was a big deal to ME! But not for anyone else, right?"

Luma: "Y-Yes."

Lata: "Anyways! I'm beat! All the running around made me tired..."

As they started chatting, you got a message on your scroll. It was from the contact 'Vessel'.

Vessel: "I got some news."

Me: "It better be important. Any leads?"

Vessel: "Sadly no. However I will be heading to Vale for the tournament. I was selected to participate."

Me: "Selected? You didn't get to choose?"

Vessel: "My, my, a lot of freedom you get over there compared to Atlas. But no, I have to participate. I just thought I'd let you know so you can shift plans a bit or use my assistance."

Me: "You could come in handy if something pops up, but are you sure there's no leads over in Atlas?"

Vessel: "Well, I just remembered, I was keeping a close eye on this girl because she had that sword you described and all features matched it's description you gave me. It even turned into breaker mode and looked exactly as you said it would."

Me: "Why haven't you told me this first?"

Vessel: "My deepest apologies. But she was not named Alyssa nor did she look like her except a few facial features. However it could be plausible that she took a fake name. She's participating in the tournament too, if I recall."

Me: "If she really is who I think she is then that's a major step foward. All we need is to find Haky or have her spill where he is if she knows."

Vessel: "I am glad to be of assistance. While we're texting may I ask how things are going over there, in your side?"

Me: "I'm getting real tired of playing pretend. There's no leads so far on Haky either."

Vessel: "I'm sure we'll find the 'Holy Knight' eventually. Anywho, see you soon."
