V2:E6-Soothing the wound

*Dorm*

Luma: "Why aren't you excited? Something like this would be making you hop around."

Lata: "I mean, the dance is cool and all but if Terumi and Rog aren't going, then it's not as great as it could be."

Luma: "Well... No need to worry about Terumi, I'll convince him to come."

Lata: "Will you?"

Luma: "Hopefully."

Lata: "But that still leaves Rog..."

Lata slumped down even more on her bed, somehow.

Luma: "I mean, it's not like it's impossible to convince him, you should talk to him. I think he just needs someone to talk to, and who would be better to do it than you.""

Lata: "Hmm... You're right. Then Rog's gonna go to the dance too, so that means the whole team will be there!"

Luma: "Uhh... Yeah."

We stood there quiet for a moment.

Luma: "I'm gonna go get my dress..."

Lata: "Ok! See you later!"

Luma: "Bye."

*POV Change*
Lata Balsty:
Alright! Everything is set, now to go to the library because that's where Rog's been hanging out. On my way there I met Yang.

Lata: "Oh, hi Yang!"

Yang: "Hmm? Oh, hello Lata."

Lata: "Where are you going?"

Yang: "To the library."

Lata: "Well, why do you have a laser pointer then?"

Yang: "Uh... Reasons. Why do you have a long piece of string with lien attached to one end?"

Lata: "Um... Reasons."

Yang: "Right... Well, see ya around."

Lata: "See ya!"

I said goodbye to Yang as we split ways when we entered the library. As I walked, I saw Rog in a darker part and he was looking at a book from his seat. Then he got up. Taking this moment, I placed the lien near his chair.

When he got back, he noticed the lien and when he tried to grab it, I tugged the string a little to pull it away from him. He tried to grab it again but I tugged just when he was gonna grab it.

He pretended to walk away then jumped back to grab the lien but I tugged back again. He got up and tried stepping on it but I tugged again. Now he was trying to step on it while walking towards me.

After a bit, I pulled the lien around the pillar I was hiding behind and Rog bumped into me.

Rog: "Oh, sorr- Oh! Um, hi, Lat-

Lata: "We need to talk."

I said that as I grabbed him and pulled him away.

*POV Change*
Y/N L/N:
I'm sitting here in a clothes store saying 'yes' to Luma whenever she asks if something looks good on her. People would assume that I have an ulterior motive when I agreed to going with Luma. And they would be right. My motive right now is to stay away from Lata because all she's done ever since our 'investigation' was bitch at how I should apologize to Rog, which is never happening. So, in turn Luma said she'd get her off my back if I agreed to go to the dance, so here I sit.

Luma: "Oh! Oh! What about this dress, does it look good?"

I actually looked up for once and saw her in a blue dress with frills at the ends.
