SAM STOOD OUTSIDE OF THE GILBERT LAKE HOUSE READY TO KNOCK. The sun was shining brightly so Sam had to wear sunglasses from the annoying light.
He played with a coin in hand before knocking on the door with a small smirk. Quickly enough Elena opened the door before noticing Sam there. "What are you doing here?" she asked in annoyance.
Sam brushed past her before entering the house to find Jeremy and Matt there. "I heard Klaus Mikaelson turned a lot of people into vampires so you could kill them," he told Jeremy who nodded his head.
He still trusted Sam after he saved his life from Connor. Though he had no idea Sam's motives. "Hm..." Sam trailed off as he looked back at Elena, who continued glaring at him. "Don't pout. You're too cute to do that."
Sam then took his sunglasses off as he smirked widely. "I'm asking again, why are you here?" Elena asked dully so Sam decided to answer.
"Of course I'm here to see how is the search for cure is going," Sam told her honestly. "From the looks of it the way Damon's teaching you, Jeremy... You'll take ages to find that cure."
Jeremy rolled his eyes expressively as Elena grabbed Sam's arm roughly before taking him to the kitchen. She let go of him before turning to face him. "I don't trust you right now... Whatever you're doing, something is up," she snapped as Sam glanced at her playfully. "Stop it with the act! Tell me why are you here?"
"Why are you so paranoid? I'm here to help Damon with Jeremy. What is so hard to understand?" Sam questioned too calmly which caused Elena to purse her lips. "I helped Jeremy before, Elena. You should stop doubting me."
From the looks of it Bonnie didn't tell Elena about their meeting and he was glad. He still had time to end everything with Jeremy so no one would be able to find Silas. So Sam could still have his powers.
Sam spent quite a lot with Kol trying to come up with a plan but whatever Sam told him Kol denied, saying they should do it themselves.
Kol even accused Sam of being doubtful and in reality he was really doubtful. He didn't want to loose his bond with Elena. Some moments more than his powers. "It's just weird how you help others more than you help me lately..." she trailed off as Sam walked a bit closer to her.
Elena tensed as his brown eyes pierced her whole soul. "Just trust me," he lied but she believed in those words more than anything.
"Okay," Elena nodded as Sam smirked before pulling away from her.
The two walked back into the living room as Sam sat down on the table in front of Matt, who's neck was bleeding. "Why didn't you heal him?" Sam asked while glancing at Elena.
