EXTENDED PLOT:

Hermione loved history. She loved reading historical novels. While browsing the Hogwarts library, she comes across a hidden diary. The diary depicted the story of Merlin during and after his his days attending Hogwarts. What most of the world didn't know was that Merlin had a secret affair with his greatest enemy, Morgan le Fay.

DIALOGUE:

1 "Here's a little-known fact that the other three houses don't bring up much: Merlin was a Slytherin. Yes, Merlin himself, the most famous wizard in history! He learned all he knew in this very house! Do you want to follow in the footsteps of Merlin? Or would you rather sit at the old desk of that illustrious ex-Hufflepuff, Eglantine Puffett, inventor of the Self-Soaping Dishcloth?" (Slytherin Welcoming Letter)

2 "Merlin studied at Hogwarts. He eventually joined the court of King Arthur and used his tremendous magical skills to help build the kingdom of Camelot, where muggles and wizards could work and live together helping each other." (Hermione)

3 "I love him so very much, and he loves me. But we have to keep our love a secret from the world. I don't know what to do. It's breaking my heart." (Morgan le Fay)

4 "Having something forbidden is exciting, don't you agree?" (Morgan le Fay)

EXTRA BITS:

*The diary can be written by either Merlin or Morgan le Fay. I prefer the idea of it being written by Merlin, though.

*I would suggest reading up on Merlin and Morgan le Fay on any Harry Potter website. That way, you can get a better background for your story. You can even mix it with the stories from the different novels they're featured in.

*This should be a forbidden romance between Merlin and Morgan le Fay. You can decide how they kept their romance hidden.

*PLEASE REMEMBER TO MAKE THIS A SLOW BURN ROMANCE!!! They shouldn't confess their love for each other after the first chapter. That is highly unlikely for a story about a forbidden love between enemies.

*Colin Morgan and Katie McGrath are perfect for the face claims since they've played the parts before. You can even use the rest of the cast from the show for their respective parts or choose someone else if you so wish.

*The story could have them with each other at Hogwarts before she goes evil, or you could have it where they didn't start their affair until after they were already established as enemies. With the first choice, it should be a slight romance during their Hogwarts days. With the second choice, their Hogwarts days would be filled with non-romance or very slight-romance.
