EXTENDED PLOT:
Helena Foster wasn't your average hunter. Growing up in a small town where everyone knew each other made it difficult for adventures. After her parents were killed by a werewolf she takes up hunting. Changing her name to Hazel Winchester after the man who saved her life only seemed fitting. Years down the road she meets up with his sons and strikes up an interesting friendship.

1 "Dean, why are you not letting me go to my soulmate?" (Castiel)
"Soulmate? Hell no, feathers! You won't go anywhere near her." (Dean)
EXTRA BITS:
*This is a Soulmate AU where everything is in black and white until you meet your soulmate. After they die, it goes back to black and white. So she will have the color fade and return every time he dies and comes back to life. Castiel will make her vision not go back to color if he's trying to keep it a secret that he's alive.
*Her birth name is Helena Lillian Foster, she went by Hazel Winchester after her parents were killed by a werewolf and John Winchester saved her life. She wanted to become a hunter and thought that changing her name to Winchester would make her more fearful.
*She would be around 10 when her parents died and John saved her. He got her to a hospital in time for her to not die from blood loss. She has scar marks on her throat and face from were the werewolf attacked her.
*Life as a hunter turned her from a bookish child into a badass woman. But that doesn't mean she won't still like to read. She's like Sam when it comes to research, she's very good at it.
*During her hunting adventures she comes across John and Dean many times and they work on cases together. She won't know about his death until she's informed by Sam and Dean.
*She'll become good friends with Sam and Dean. More so with Dean, since they have memories of being on hunts together with his father.
*Dean would joke around about how she's like Sam when it comes to research and himself when it comes to drinking. She can turn up a bottle of anything and drink it.
*Castiel is her soulmate and after they meet Dean will be very overprotective of her. He sees her as his sister.
*Castiel will be very awkward around her at first. He was shocked to see that he had a soulmate. It's very rare for it to happen to angels. But even though it's rare, angels still think about what it would be like to have a soulmate. Hazel is very different from what he wished his soulmate could be.
