EXTENDED PLOT:

Holly Halliwell never meant to hurt anyone. She was just trying to stop a mugger from hurting an innocent woman. But sometimes doing something for the right reasons can have serious consequences. Hurting an innocent person leaves a scar that can never heal. The only way to overcome that scar is to forgive yourself. Bucky Barnes knows the feeling, and they may be able to help each other learn to forgive their past mistakes.

DIALOGUE:

1 "No one ever told me that grief felt so like fear." (Holly)

2 "Grief does not change you, Holly. It reveals you." (Bucky)

3 "I didn't mean to hurt her. I was trying to freeze the mugger, but I blew him up instead. It killed the woman he was mugging, too." (Holly)

4 "That woman will die over and over again for the rest of my life. Grief is forever. It doesn't go away; it becomes a part of you, step for step, breath for breath. I will never stop grieving what I did." (Holly)

5 "I never knew her name. I was too scared to find out. I always feel that if I know her name, it would make it real. Like I would never be able to wake up, and it would all be a silly nightmare." (Holly)

EXTRA BITS:

*Holly and Bucky meet at a support group for people who have hurt others, whether it is by accident, mind control, or on purpose.

*Holly ended up hurting an innocent person when she first developed her second power, and she was trying to protect them from a mugger.

*Holly can only control the speed of molecules.

*Some powerful entities or higher level users may have high resistance and/or capable of making this power ineffective. So someone like Doctor Strange could resist her powers or be able to break out of the spell.

*The user with molecular speed manipulation can control the speed of which molecules travel. They can accelerate, decelerate, and even halt molecules altogether.  Advanced users can speed up molecules until they combust, slow down molecules until they lose energy, stop them completely, or revert them to an earlier state.

*The power was inspired by Piper's ability in Charmed. The name is inspired by the actress and character. Some of her aspects will be inspired by the character as well.

*Holly will learn more about her powers over the years working for SHIELD. Eventually, she can turn someone into a baby, as in reverting their molecules to an earlier state.

*Holly is an expert cook and baker. Her mother was a chef, and that was the career Holly wished to go into before she developed her powers at the age of 16.

*You can choose what powers she already has during the start of the story and which she develops as the story progresses. She needs to at least have molecular immobilization and molecular combustion at the start of the story. If you choose to have only the first two at the start, the story is that Holly is afraid to use her powers in fear of hurting people and hasn't been able to develop them further. Or she does develop the third power, but it scares her, and she decides to stop using her powers.

*The first power Holly developed from her molecular speed manipulation is molecular immobilization. It's the power to slow down molecules of object/organism, so they are motionless. The user can reduce the speed of objects/organisms to the point of them becoming immobile. This produces similar effects to time stopping, and the user can freeze specific targets, parts of a target, or immobilize the molecules within their surroundings. As with time-stop, the consciousness of an affected organism is immobilized, which causes them to be unaware of any event that transpired while the user had frozen them.

*The second power she developed was molecular combustion. The power to speed up the molecules causes the target to combust/explode. Users can accelerate molecules of a target, increasing heat and friction to the point of combustion/explosion.

*The third power she develops is molecular acceleration. The power to speed up molecules to the extent that they either catch fire or melt. The user can accelerate molecules, be it their own or another's. They can speed an object's molecules to the point of melting or combustion.

*The fourth power she develops is molecular deceleration. The power to decelerate organisms or objects molecules. The user can slow an object or organism's molecules down, giving the appearance of time slowing, putting the object/organism in slow motion.

*The fifth power she develops is molecular inhibition. The power to halt the movement of molecules, causing the victim to be encapsulated in ice. The user can completely halt the movements of molecules, which will cause them to crystallize and encapsulate any being or object in ice.

*The sixth power she develops is molecular reversion. The ability to shift molecules back into their previous order and state. The user can shift molecules back to their previous order and shape. This allows them to change matter to their original form if they had been changed, and even reverse shapeshifting if done via molecular manipulation. Even reversing/rewinding back an action. For example, if you are attacked by a projectile, you can rewind the action directly back into the attacker's fingers.

*Holly has a lot of self-hatred, and it will take a while for her to feel better about herself.

*After she develops her sixth power, she'll accidentally turn someone into a baby. I can see it being someone like Tony.
