"Frigga is the only reason you're still alive, and you will never see her again. You will spend the rest of your days in the dungeons," After the-man-on-the-throne's voice ended, Loki felt a force pulling him backward, dragging him away. He didn't fight them, instead, the God of Mischief kept his glare on Odin. There was no emotion in the old man's eyes whatsoever. On the other hand, the pain in Loki's green irises shown on full display that he knew there was no way of hiding them, so he didn't try to. Everything he did, he did it all for Odin. All he ever wanted was never the throne, but just to be his brother's equal, to prove himself to his father and to make his mother proud. Alas, all his hard work resulted in him being labelled as the bad son, the monster who needed to be locked away.

The rattling of the chain, around his ankles and wrists, was the only sound echoing through the hall as those soldiers escorted him out the throne room. Frigga was there, watching her son being taken away with her broken heart. She wished nothing more than a good-bye hug, but that was forbidden. A prisoner could never be near the queen, at least, it's what the king said.

Two guards opened the enormous doors, and once Loki walked past the foyer, out of the sight, someone stepped out of the shadow from within the throne room.

Thor stopped and stood still, watching the entrance closed once again, his brother was on his way to where he was going to spend the rest of his life. The God of Thunder sighed lightly. He felt soft hand pressed on his shoulder. His gaze, however, glued to the now-closed door. There was no need to turn to look to know it was his mother. Even though Thor didn't say it out loud like the queen, both him and Frigga wasn't please with how Odin sentenced Loki. What he did was wrong, but a life sentence? Loki was his son! Not his own blood, but still, how could he do that to the boy whom he raised. Oh wait, that was mostly Frigga and Heimdall. Odin barely ever glanced the child's way after he took him in for a purpose when he was a toddler.

On the way to the prison, Loki growled when one guard nudged his back for walking too slow. Loki wouldn't say it, but he was just trying to make this walk last for as long as he could, so he could take in all the details of this place he called home for one last time, knowing he would never see it again. This very corridor, the same one he and Thor used to run down chasing each other with smiles on their faces when they were kids. A small smile appeared on Loki's face, without him even realizing it, as he was unconsciously taken over by the warm memories, which was abruptly broken by the guard telling him to move it faster.

Sighing, a smile on his face faded, replaced by sorrow in his eyes. Loki thought of his brother. Thor didn't at least show up to see you for one last time, your brother hates you. The voices inside his head assaulted. Of course, they didn't know. Loki didn't know. But Thor was there. Watching. The God of Thunder did try everything in his power to lighter his brother's penalty, but Odin's mind was made up. Not even Thor nor Frigga could tell him otherwise.

They walked in silence with the only sounds being Loki's restraint rattling and heavy boots hitting the floor. The journey continued until the sun could no longer shine on them as the guards escorted the prisoner down the dark stairs to the castle's basement prison.

Loki's new home.

Thor didn't even know why would his legs take him here. But here he was, standing in the middle of Loki's room. Well, what used to be Loki's room. The God of Thunder just stood there, letting his eyes roaming aimlessly around the four walls. His brother's stuffs were there, yet it felt so empty this time. So... lonely.

Another sigh left Thor's mouth. He was about to turn around and leave when suddenly, he caught something in the corner of his eye. Thor stopped in his tracks. His brows furrowed and his head slowly turned to the direction. There it was, remaining on Loki's silk mattress, the blanket. Not just normal blanket, but the one Frigga sewed it herself for her youngest son's birthday when the God of Mischief was little.
