Loki had always been known for his silver tongue. That, however, felt like a thousand lifetimes ago. Now Thor would give anything and everything just for his brother to speak again.
Trigger warning's applied.

"Please, brother, please!" Loki's voice was full of fear and despair. He used his hands to help move his body backward, increase the space between him and the predator, who wore the face of his brother, crawling along the floor and leaving trail of his own fresh crimson blood.
Thor stood there, watching like a cat would watch a dying mouse as it tried to escape its fate. The whip, in which Thor used to lash flesh out of the skin of his brother's back minute earlier, still in his hand. He was amused. Loki could tell Thor was overly amused to see him begging for mercy, for Thor to end his life and his misery. But Loki realised, with strong waves of horror washing over every atom in his body, that death would be too kind, too easy. He realised the moment Thor peeled the skin out of his body, with the sharp blade of his knife before pouring boiling water all over his wound and then laughed at it, that this wasn't the same Thor he grew up with.
When Thor started taking casual, lazy steps towards him his heart almost stopped beating from fear alone. As pathetic as he looked, no matter how hard he tried to back away from the monster in front of him Loki wasn't fast enough. He could barely move for all the torture and the pain Thor inflicted upon his body almost rendered him paralyse.
Seconds later Thor's shadow landed on his poor brother who was already trembling in fear and pain. Thor was standing tall with his legs straddled either side of Loki's waist. In one quick movement he grabbed and pulled him up by his hair, ignoring the scream and pleading leaving Loki's throat. There was a hook behind them. Thor lifted Loki up, and Loki knew just what Thor was going to do to him next. He knew there was no way he could get out, yet he tried with what little strength he had left to fight and struggle to free himself from Thor's dreadful grip. It was no use, of course. He was too weak. And even if he wasn't so badly injured by the hand of his brother his physical strength was still nothing compared to Thor's. He cried out the second the sharp hook started driving deep into his skin, writhing as much as he could, still it was barely a little movement, a little twitch since he didn't have enough energy left; it was long gone after days of being locked up in darkness and cold in an unknown place where there wasn't a minute he was allowed a moment without torture. Thor was always here, giving him every kind of abuse he could think of, breaking him from inside out until his thoughts were no longer his own, until he couldn't stir two thoughts together, couldn't think of anything at all except that it hurt. It hurt so much he wished Thor would let him die.
With the hook driven through his shoulder Loki stopped struggling because the littlest movement made the pain double and because he simple couldn't even move anymore. He just hung there, limp and unmoving, legs not touching the ground, when Thor gripped his chin harshly and yanked his face up so he was force to make eye contact (even though his eyes were barely open and he could barely see, his vision almost completely gone after Thor deliberately poured poison directly into it)
The reason as to why he deserved all of this, what gruesome crime he must've committed to earn such punishment, long but forgotten. Thor wouldn't tell him. Wouldn't tell him why. No matter how many times Loki begged for the answer Thor gave him none. Why, brother, why? Why would you hurt me? No, Thor never enlightened Loki. The only words Thor said was, "where is it? Where's the Tesseract?" Again, Thor was asking the same question, the question Loki was unable to answer.
"Where?!" Thor screamed, backhanded Loki hard his face turned to the side it burned, tears rolled down his eyes and he didn't look back up at Thor. His face fell downward, too weak to even lift his head.
