Abby's POV

The beach lifeguard service closed earlier than it should so it doesn't take me long to go to the garage and get out my brand new surf board. Fastening the leash I jog down to catch some waves, leaving the guys on the shore. I paddle out and at the exact time, I catch a nice big wave. 

Surfing along it I hear whistling and shake my head at them, I hear someone yelling my name that I can't ignore, I turn to face him, distracting me from the surf and the board lets out from over me. I pop my head out of the water and pull the hair out of my face, on their own surfboard in front of me.. Maxi, again. Looks like he's just paddled out to join me.

"You caught a good one." Maxi says. 

I pull my board back and hop onto it easily. "Maybe I did." 

He chuckles and I smile, I've missed that so much. This is the time to tell him that he wasn't the only one who was wrong in this whole ideal. 

"Maxi.." I sigh. "I'm sorry." 

He raises a brow. "You're sorry?" 

"I can be a bitch sometimes, okay... more than just sometimes. When you were away the anger grew into a problem and without anyone to talk about it with,  it just took over. I could only blame you, when I am partly to blame to." 

He smiles. "We're both to blame, I should've called."

"Me too." 

"So we're good?" 

"If you're good, I'm totally good." I say.

He paddles much more closer to me and pulls my board toward him. "This time, I won't ignore you for a week." He mumbles.

"What are you--"

He leans over and catches my lips with his, I react immediately. Softly kissing him back and trying to balance myself on the board, this was by far the best kiss I've ever had. I hear him groan and he pulls back, but keeps his hold on my thigh. He smiles at me widely and shakes his head at me.

"I'm in trouble." He whispers.

I giggle. "But good trouble?"

"The best trouble I can ever get into." 

I turn my head slightly and nod towards a upcoming wave. "Another go?" 

"I'm in." 

After another surf we paddle back to the the others who have stayed back, they're are whistling and clapping. I blush when I join them with Maxi holding my hand tightly in his. 

"You're a item now?" Hutz asks.

I look up at Maxi. "Are we?" 

Maxi laughs and pecks my forehead. "Yeah guys... this girl is mine." 

My heart tightens and the others cheer, Hoppo gives us a thumbs up. 

"Finally, I mean seriously. Guys, have you been waiting as long as I have?" Bisho asks around.

I laugh and Hutz shrugs as he picks up his stuff. "I'm off then, anyone need a ride?" 

Hutz, Harries, Bisho and Jesse take Hutz's car and they leave. Leaving Hoppo smiling at the both of us. 

"I hope you two keep this relationship clean, I don't want co-workers fighting over this while working here?" Hoppo says.

"If there's drama, it won't happen here." Maxi puts his arm around my waist. "We promise."

I nod. "Like he said." 

He chuckles. "Okay guys, see you two tomorrow afternoon." 

"See you!" I wave then he jogs off. 

Maxi turns back to me and squeezes my hip. "Do you want to come to my place?" 

"I'd love to."
