Abby Jenson's POV
I pack away most of my stuff and decide after a grueling semester, I need to relax and the best part is that I live 10 minutes away from Bondi beach! I grab my black bikini and light blue towel and pack them in my beach bag. It's a bit hotter than I'd want, but that'll do.
I lock up and walk towards the beach, it of course takes less than 10 minutes for me but another 7 to find a spot for myself on the sand. I decide to be nearer to the flags and settle down, I take off my shorts and tank top, pulling my hair up into a messy bun. Even a pony tail is too hot for me at the moment.
I lean back on the towel and close my eyes, I already feel like my skins baking. I'm glad I put sunscreen before going out of the flat. I hear a car's engine or whatever and open my eyes, a rhino is just arriving to park between the flags, I see whose in it and smile.. I've only watched some of the Bondi Rescue series, but they're just normal guys to me. What I gather is that there's Azza and Harrison.
I've wanted to be in their position for as long as I can remember, lifeguards are awesome and the job even more sweet. I look away quickly before they feel the stare and dust off sand from my body before going into the water. It's cool but I'm loving it, as I swim in I hear the megaphone from the rhino.. they're guiding even more people away from the South end, as I gather, it's the most dangerous spot on the beach with the currents.
After some laps across the beach I notice maybe I should call my parents who are in Queensland, after all, I've promised to call them today. As I get to the sand I wince in pain, I look down and to make things worse.
Bluebottles.
Nasty sea life, that's what I call them. Everyone who is a regular beach goer here knows the pain of their tentacles. I limp slightly away from the water and bend down to unwrap the 'blue strings' off my ankle. As I get going to my stuff it stings even more! I groan and shake my head at the stupidity, I don't want to trouble the lifeguards when they have more to be concerned about, but I need some ice or something!
I limp toward the rhino nearby and one of them turn slightly, when they see me kind of limping Harrison.. I think? Gets out to meet me halfway.
"You alright?" He asks.
"I got stung by a bluebottle, as embarrassing as it is!" I chuckle softly.
Harrison smiles. "Come on, I'll take you up to the lifeguard tower, can you walk?"
"Yeah, a bit!"
He turns to Azza. "Can you put up the bluebottle warning signs while I take her up?"
"Sure, I'll radio in too."
"Thanks, mate." Harrison says and takes my arm, so I'm half leaning on him. "What's your name then?"
"Abby."
"Nice to meet you Abby, I'm Harrison."
"Nice to meet you too!" I smile.
We get to the ladder to the lifeguard tower and with the help of Harrison he brings me in and puts me on the medical bed.
"Got a bluebottle patient here, mates." Harrison says to the rest of them.
I notice three lifeguards turn to pay attention to me, and one of them just strikes me. Well, more or less strikes my heart. I'm looking at a tall lifeguard, blond hair and blueish eyes.. it just makes my heart flutter.
"Oh those assholes." He chuckles and steps down the small steps from the desk and down to join me and Harrison, he grabs a bag of ice and gives it to me. I put it on my ankle.
"Thanks guys." I shake head. "I should've kept a eye out." I grin.
"Happens to the best of us, no worries. I'm Maxi.. well, Trent. But, Maxi is what I'm called here." He chuckles.
"Abby."
"This is a nasty one, you must have gotten stung by a big one."
I laugh, and wince. "Yeah well, it's beginning to feel like it."
Maxi chuckles lightly and tells Harrison to go back to his post of the beach and that he'll take care of it. I didn't even notice that Harrison had taken my stuff with him and put it down next to me. I smile and thank him before he runs off.
"I think I'll be fine from here." I say to Maxi. "Thanks through.."
He grins. "Alright, if you say so. Careful out there, hopefully this won't stop you from coming back."
I chuckle. "I'll be back for sure, thanks, Maxi."
"See you around, Abby." He leans on the wall, watching me leave the tower.
I almost want to look back and hug him or something, but I refrain myself.

Isn't Maxi great!? He's definitely my fav. :)
