Abby's POV

Maxi's blindfold is starting to itch and I spread out my arms so I can feel for his arm. "Maxi, I'm tired of this thing, where are we going?" I ask. 

He chuckles and stops me, I feel sand under my feet and I smile, knowing where we are by the time he takes off my blindfold. 

"You brought me to work...?" I ask him.

He looks around us nervously and nods. "Yeah, well.. to the beach." 

I laugh. "You're sweet." I lean up and kiss him. "Is this because in a few weeks I'll be on leave?" 

"Yeah, sure." He smiles.

"So what are we going to do?" I ask him.

He clears his throat and sits us down on the sand, over viewing the water and I lay my head on his shoulder. 

"I thought it'd be a great evening to relax, and we're going to watch the sunset." 

I smile. "I love the idea, thank you." I kiss him.

He tightens his hold on me and we just sit back in each other's arms watching the sun slowly go down. After a long time just being quiet and him sneaking kisses he makes us both stand up, I raise a brow. 

"That's all?" I ask.

"Not done." He smiles at me softly and caresses my face. "You know I love you, right?"

"I know that, I love you too." I say. 

"When I met you, I focused so much on that bluebottle sting that I didn't realize that I was a goner." 

I smile. "Maxi.." 

"Let me say this." He pecks my head and starts talking again. "I walked into that tower, not knowing that you'd turn my world upside down.. I want to spend everyday being knocked off my feet, I want to spend my life with the woman I love. So..." He clears his throat. "There's only one question, it's right behind you."

I try recovering from the sweet words coming out of his mouth and turn around slowly, I cry out and my hands fly to my mouth. In front of me our co-workers are holding up words. 

' Will You Marry Me, Abs?'

"Oh my god..." I whisper and turn back around to Maxi who is down on his knee, looking up at me with that sweet smile and those eyes I love to look into the first thing in the morning and last before I go to bed.

"Yes! Of course I want to marry you!!" I scream out. 

He sighs with relief and stands up, putting the ring on my finger, I look up at him for a second before linking my arms around his neck and pulling him in for a deep, deep kiss. Hearing whistles and clapping in the background. 

Maxi lifts me up in his arms and spins me around, I giggle and look at him with all the love in the word. 

"I love you so much, Abby." He whispers in my ear. 

"I love you more..."
