"Seeing a rainbow after the rain somehow makes the gloom and grayness all worth it."

Nathan

"Dude, what the fvck happened to you?!"

I laughed as a response and drank the beer in my hand.

"I don't know man, this marriage thing has gotten me all messed up."

"You got that right!" Seth

"I still can't believe it, the great Nathaniel Isaiah, married. Happily married." Derek

Seth and Derek are my high school friends, it's been a while since I've hung out with them. Three months has passed by so fast, and well, I've got to say that everything is still going smooth.

"So Nathan, when are we gonna meet this wife of yours?"

I smirked, "with your guys' reputation? No way."

Kung akala niyo malala na pagiging babaero ko dati, well, you haven't met these two.

They're like the Asian version of Barney from How I Met Your Mother.

"Oh c'mon! We've changed man!"

"Yeah, keep telling yourself that."

"Nathan, I have to ask you though, are you really serious about her? Baka naman pinipilit mo lang sarili mo na magustuhan siya kasi wala kang choice." Seth

"We're worried about you man, everything happened so fast. How can you say that you're already hopelessly in love with her?"

I thought about what to say for a second, "I think about that too. When we argue, especially. I've thought about leaving her, I ask myself why I stay with one girl when I can go out and meet other people. It's overwhelming you know, being married. I'm overwhelmed by how much I love her. It frightens me sometimes, I didn't know that it was possible to love someone too much, I didn't know I was capable of loving someone this much."

The two didn't speak for a while, what can you say with a respond like that? Besides, they've never heard me talk like that.

"Marriage has done you well." Seth

"Yeah, it has."

On my drive home, I couldn't help but recall the text Andrea sent me before I left Seth's house.

"Lovey, ingat ka sa pag drive ah. Nakainom ka, dahan-dahan lang sa daan. There's food on the table for you, kumain ka muna bago ka magpahinga. I'm gonna go to bed now, I'll see you in the morning. Please don't be mad anymore, I love you!"

We had an argument before I left home. It was a small one, but I made a big deal out of it.

Jealousy is a bad trait. I didn't even know I had it until I met my wife.

I carefully opened the door to her room to avoid waking her up, she was sound asleep. I gave her lips a peck, when I pulled away, her eyes were still closed, I couldn't help but smile. I can't believe I'm married to such a beautiful Angel.
