If you are reading this you are probably expecting some battle between the pack and Seth or something but that's not this story. This is my story. Well, ours but I'll get to that later. I am Amber, and Matt's daughter Skylar. It's been 20 years since Seth died. I have been told the story multiple times and every time my mom reminisces about her best friend.
Shortly after Seth was killed my parents finished high school, and moved into a small three-bedroom house within walking distance to Uncle Jake and Aunt Saundra's six-bedroom house basically what you need to know is My Aunt Willow still lives in Jake's and Sandra's place. Thomas is currently stationed only a few hours away where he lives with his daughter Amethyst, Aunt Lucy, and her girlfriend Ciri*. Oh and Apollo recently started teaching, and I, of course, have him as my science teacher. Now that's enough back story. Let's get to our story.
As one of the oldest of the second generation of the pack, I might be slightly protective of the younger kids but I am nothing like Olivia. She was the firstborn and she thinks she's all high and mighty because her dad is a shifter but her mom was human.
I spend most of my time with Theo. Olivia's little brother. He's human like his mom along with their matching tan skin. With Uncle Cole busy at college now, he seems lonely sometimes. He won't admit t of course but he feels like an outcast and he has since we were kids. I don't blame him. It took me a while to find my shift animal and before I did I remember what it felt like to watch everyone run around in the main house and backyard.
There are six of us in total. Olivia and Theo are Uncle Jake and Aunt Saundra's kids. Then, my parents, Amber, and Matt had four kids. Me, Annie, Alice and the youngest, and my only brother Logan. My life for the first 16 years was pretty normal. Well as normal as it could be. Definitely boring. Until of course...
