An Asgardian Supernova [COMPLETED STORY]

Loki.

  The boys decided it was time for Nova to get a battle outfit. She decided on keeping the black pants and shirt, but she added a few things to the look. Gold and crimson detailing were added to both the shirt and pants. She wore shin high black boots with crimson buttons. She added a cape that was black on the outside but crimson on the inside. Everything was also leather instead of the normal cotton. It looked quite alot like Loki's outfit, just crimson instead of green. She was more powerful than both of the boys. She could fly, make illusions, had superhuman strength and speed, shapeshift, mind powers, the ability to move things with her mind, incredible combat skills and many other abilities. When she got angry, she got too dangerous to be around a points. Her eyes turned crimson and she could do anything imaginable. She was a weapon. The boys both lost to her when they trained. She was quite a trickster like Loki. They often liked to prank eachother or Thor. She and Loki got along too well. They were almost the same person. Still, she never used a last name of uttered her father's name. Loki knew he was Laufey's son by now and she comforted him through that time.

  Her and Loki would spend time together while Thor was with his father, talking about the throne. The two of them became the best friends imaginable. Many people disliked them because of their mischief but they didn't let that get to them. They never excluded Thor although sometimes he wished to spend time with his other friends, he could not afford any bad publicity now. The two of them got into trouble quite a bit but Hiemdall could not disipline her for she could seriously harm him and eventually the secret would get out. She moved out and bought her own place to stay.

  She wasn't evil, but she wasn't a ray of sunshine either. She didn't want to hurt anyone but she liked causing problems and trouble to innocent people. Loki, on the other hand enjoyed pain. This bothered Nova. She was always taught to never hurt others, but Loki liked to. She never acted bothered or uncomfortable for she didn't want to ruin the relationship that they had. She just never took part in hurting others.

  Loki was the type to get angered quite easily, and when he was angry he hurt people. Whenever someone discouraged him or spoke lowly of him, they suffered. He tortured them. He would cause them pain just with his mind or he would use weapons. He had never killed anyone though. If he ever hurt someone too much, he would feel terrible. Nova was there for him no matter what, no matter how much she disagreed with his doing.

  One day, Nova was on her way to visit the brothers when she heard a scream. She rushed to the site to see Loki and one of the common folk. He had him pinned to the ground with chains and was clenching his fist. With every tightening of his fist, the man screamed in agony. Nova ran over to Loki and grabbed his free hand.
  "What are you doing Loki! Let him go!" She shrieked.
  "Nova, go home. Now." His teeth were clenched and he was the most angry she had ever seen him. His eyes had a different type of fire in them. A dangerous fire.
  "I'm not kidding! Enough Loki!"
  "Nova. Get away you don't need to see this."
  "What are you going to do? You better not-" She was cut off with a blood curdling scream. Tears began forming in her eyes.
  "Loki, you do this too often, this has to stop now!"
  Loki glared at her and used his power to throw her into a wall. She could tell that he wasn't playing around and he meant to hurt her. She got up and her eyes turned crimson. She picked him up with her mind and slammed him on to the ground. She then let the man go, he was shaking to a point where he could barely move. She then punched Loki and he started bleeding. He yelped in pain. She stepped on his stomach and punched him again. This time his head began to bleed. She didn't realize what she was doing. Her fists were covered in blood.
A ball of magic began forming in her hand. This was new. She aimed it at Loki's face and threw it. He yelled out for Thor but there was no response. She continued beating him until finally Thor appeared.

  Thor threw mjölnir at Nova and she ducked. He yelled for her to calm down but that only made her more angry. Her eyes blazed. She picked him up and slammed him to the ground. Hard. Thor threw his hammer again and this time it made contact with her chest. She fell to the ground in pain. Suddenly, her eyes began to return to just crimson, and they began go turn brown. Nova was covered in blood. Her mind was foggy and when she tried to stand, she collapsed.

  When she opened her eyes, all she saw was white. "I must be dead" she thought. Once she moved and felt a searing pain in her chest, she realized she wasn't. She couldn't remember where she was or what had happened. She looked over and Loki was sitting next to her covered in bandages.
  "What happened to you?"
  "You did."
  Nova was confused. What had she done? Had she hurt him that badly?
  "I did what?"
  "You attacked me a few hours ago."
  Nova's heart sank. She did harm him. She couldn't remember what she had done. Or even why she had done it.
  "Loki, what did I do?" She stammered.
  "I almost killed someone, you got angry and beat me up pretty bad. When Thor came to help, you knocked him to the ground. Ive never seen you like that Nova. I-I....."
  "You what? I wouldn't do that for no reason Loki."
  "I threw you against a wall first. But I've always known when you were just joking. Nova,  your eyes turned crimson and gold, not just crimson. You had a fire in your eyes."
  Nova was mortified. She hurt her best friends. What could she do if she reached her full potential? Luckily Thor stopped her before she got too out of hand.
  "Loki I'm so sorry."
  "I am too."
  "I could've done something much worse to you. I feel terrible."
  As soon as the words left her mouth, she realized she had lied to him. She didn't feel terrible, not at all. In fact she felt calm, yet fired up for more.

  Loki brought her home later that day and said their goodbyes. Nova felt normal. She didn't feel guilty or ashamed. By now it was dark and Nova was tired, so she went to bed.

  The next morning, a little too early, she woke up to an unusual sound. Banging and clicks. She changed into her battle outfit and turned the corner to her front door. When she opened the door someone jumped back. She quickly scanned the situation. There were two men standing there. They were much taller and much broader than she was. There was what looked to be a hair pin sticking out the lock. She finally put the pieces together and realized they were trying to break into her house. She was angry. Her chocolate eyes turned the bright crimson that matched her outfit.

  The men feel to their knees when Nova raised her fists. Then, the squeezed her hands tighter and the men called out in pain. The tighter her balled fists got, the worse the men suffered. Then, she made a choking motion with her hand and the men began to choke. The closer her fingers got, the less air they recieved. They began turning blue when she finally let go. She began beating them, just like she had Loki. This time, she wasn't joking. One of the men jumped up from Nova's attacks and kicked her in the nose. She fell back and lifted him up and threw him into the ground, knocking him out cold. Magic flew from her hands and into then men's chests. By now, they did not try to fight back anymore. They were taking the beatings until they could no longer breathe.

  Nova knew what she was doing was probably wrong, but that didn't stop her. She stopped beating the men for a moment when she heard laughing. She made chains appear to hold them down. She stood up warily and looked around. She didn't see anyone but she sensed someone watching her. The laugh sounded familiar. Who was it though? That's what she had to find out. She looked around every corner, curve and crevice but she saw nothing out of the ordinary. She then looked up at the roof, and that's when she saw it. A black bird with emerald green shine in the wings. She transfigured into a bird as well, but she had crimson shine.
  "Loki."
  "Nova what are you doing? This isn't you."
  Nova turned back into herself, as did Loki. The two of them stood on the roof together.
  "This isn't what you want Nova."
  "Loki, this is. They deserve to be punished."
  "You and I aren't the same person. Stop acting like you need to be the same as me to be friends. I'll be with you no matter what."
  Loki's words made sense to Nova, but she didn't agree with them.
  "This is what I want to do. This has nothing to do with you so just go home!"
  "I'm not leaving Nova. I can't trust you here alone."
  "You aren't my babysitter and you won't stop me from doing what I want."
  "But he will."
  Nova looked in the direction that Loki was looking. Thor stood there, mjölnir in hand. She stood as the hammer left Thor's hand and flew towards her at full speed. She put her hand out and caught the hammer before it hit her.
