An Asgardian Supernova [COMPLETED STORY]

Fugitive.

  Staying in this cell was no longer an option. The only problem was the while escaping part. I was stripped of my major powers, so teleportation was not an option. Touching the forcefield would burn me, so I couldn't just walk out. The only time prisoners got to leave was when they were deathly ill. Death ill, that's it! I could use the powers I still have to fake sickness, get the hell out of here and be free! Maybe I can get Loki in on the plan too. If I got him out maybe he would forgive me.
"I'm in." What the..? Could he hear me think?
"I can indeed. We should chat this way so we don't get caught."
"Um okay."
"So whats the plan?"
"We have to use our powers to make us look sick, progressively though."
"Okay."
"We'll start with a fever and a cough."
"Okay"
"Okay."
Loki suddenly started coughing, drawing affection to himself. I coughed just a single time then layed in the bed.
"Cool it with the coughing there tough guy."
"I hardly know what you mean. I'm getting them to notice I'm sick."
"Yeah okay."
He was going to mess this whole thing up for me wasn't he?

I spent the rest of the night coughing every little while and trying to figure out how Loki can read my mind. I can't read his. How long has he been doing that? How can I make him not do that? Of course Loki could though he's the God of Mischief. What had he heard? I mean I haven't thought of anything bad but still. Kind of an invasion of privacy don't you think? This is why Loki and I got along so well as kids. I felt like I knew him in a way others didn't. I connected with him, even more than Thor did. I knew why, but he certainly didn't, and he never would. I would never ever think of it again. He would be shocked.

After a restless night of lonely thoughts, the sun rose. I got up and walked around my cell. Loki was sitting up in the bed, reading a book as usual.
  "Loki."
  "I'm reading."
  "I don't care. Get a fever."
  "Fine."
  "Thank you."
  "You have to as well this was your own plan."
  "I'm aware. We can't get them at the same time and if you weren't too busy staring at that paper and ink and looked up for five seconds you would know that I have been acting sick for the past few hours!"
  "Okay no need to get all defensive."
  "Get your damn fever or you aren't coming."
  "Alright alright."
  I made myself look sick during the middle of the night so it could like I woke up with it. I've been dealing with being hot and cold all morning. He isn't even trying, I swear he's going to be the reason we get caught. All of a sudden there was a loud bang. Loki "passed out" and the guards were kind of concerned. They opened his cell and did the same trick I did when I snuck off to see him the other day. He then walked behind the guards when he was invisible and knocked them both out. He opened my cell and together, we booked it out of there.

  We were invisible to the world, only we could see eachother. He lead the way because he knew all the good spots and how to get out of sight. We had to make sure nobody knew where we were. They'd be after us in a few minutes if they weren't already. He hid underground in an old jail that was locked and abandoned. We teleported in. This would be our place until the air cleared. It was dark, so I lit up the place with a simple wave of my hand. It was covered in spider webs, bugs and dust. This time, Loki waved his hand and the the place was cleaned up. This whole thing happened alot faster than I had planned. It was supposed to take days and progress until they let us out and we would escape from there. I mean it's good that we're out now but all my planning went to waste. Loki did good though, I'm proud of him.
  "I think we should stay invisible for a while, not to eachother but to everyone else." I suggested.
  "Good idea."
  "Thanks."
  "Look Nova, I know I overreacted. I was just really hurt and worried about you. I'm sorry."
  "You had every reason to. I know I hurt you but I did nothing about it. I'm sorry Loki, you don't need to be."
  "Friends?"
  "Best."

  Days went by and above us we could still hear footsteps running by. I mean, 2 prisoners escaped and one is a prince. If we got caught I'm pretty sure we would die. They'd literally kill us.
  "They won't kill us Nova calm down," Loki said.
  "Stop reading my thoughts."
  "It's amusing to hear what you think about."
  "How so?"
  "It just is."
  We spent the rest of the day making the place ours. I wonder what Thor was doing. If I'm right, we've been down here for 4 days. We couldn't leave because Hiemdall wouldn't open the Bifrost for us because he's all "loyal to the throne" and "obey the king." Ugh, it kind of gets a little unhelpful. I mean he's lied to royalty before about when I left.  It was getting really cold down here. I shivered and made a fire appear with a snap of my fingers. Loki made a blanket and we sat down together. We didn't say anything but he wrapped his cold arms around me and rested his head on mine. This is the Loki missed when I was gone, and I was so happy to have him back. The dancing flames infront of us began to die the more tired I got, and eventually, we fell asleep. Him holding me close and our fingers interlocked.

So I'm shocked...
I can't believe I'm at basically 400 reads! This happened like overnight and I want to thank everyone who read!
